Best Rules Resource?

Land of Redemption links to the 4th edition rulebook for the rules. These do not include anything about Artifacts, Sites (except for one bit in the deck building rules), Fortresses, and maybe others.

What is the best source of rules that include those card types, or specifically for them?

I'm asking for where to find the rules of how those cards work. I can't find anything in the REG about how to play artifacts, when they can be played, that you can only activate an artifact once per turn, things like that. If it's in the REG and I'm missing it, please quote it or point me to the page. Thanks!

Is this - http://landofredemption.com/?p=3729 - the best and most complete rendering of the rules for Artifacts and Fortresses?

The 10th Anniversary rulebook has some of what I'm looking for, but does not describe how Fortresses hold cards and how they can be placed on Fortresses as well as that Land Of Redemption post, for example.

Ok, so most of the questions about how artifacts work can be addressed under the "Artifact" and "Artifact Pile" (pp. 83-84) entries in the REG. As far as when you can play artifacts and when you can activate them look under "Preparation Phase" (p. 109). For fortresses take a look at "Fortress" (p. 97) where it says "Fortresses allow you to hold cards in that Fortress according to the abilities on the Fortress." That points to the "hold" entry on page 45 which describes how hold works and adds a clarification for fortresses. "If a Fortress with a hold effect does not describe how cards are both added and removed, then you may add or remove cards during your Preparation Phase." Hope that helps at least point you in the right direction. If you have more questions or want more clarification ask away :D. The REG doesn't really have individual sections for explaining how individual card types work in their entirety but with some digging the specifics can be located in other entries. That article looks recent enough that any explanation there should be valid. Haven't looked at it close enough to say for certain but it looks like a great article.

Whoa, it's all there! Thanks :)

I think that explanation also helped me know how to start digging through it next time I have a question like this.

I was asking both for myself and to know where to point others if I were to try sharing the game with anyone. It's good to know it's all in the REG, but for anyone learning the game, I'll definitely be sharing that Land of Redemption article. For everything with these examples, it all seems to match. And Gabe wrote it, and I think that guy knows what he's talking about :D but it's good to see how I can double check it against the REG now with any updates it may get. Thanks again!
