I RA with some random hero. Can I add two sites to battle? I didn't see anything in the REG about it, but I only looked for about 25 seconds.

i would say you can add as many sites as you want.
This is the way Lackey gave it to me. All hail the power of Lackey!

I see no reason you couldn't.  Say you push one in for access, soul gets buried, add another!

No, I got that ruled at nationals.  I tried to give my opponent access in order to add my site guard.

The REG said yes.

Quote from: REG
Sites must be placed in the Field of Battle to gain access to your opponent’s sites.  Multiple sites may be used.  Site access cards in battle may not be removed prior to the battle resolution unless forced or allowed by another card.

GRR REYZEN GRRR

You and I both know that our brother Roy does the absolute best job he can. :)

I make ruling mistakes all the time at live tournaments.  It's so much easier sitting here with the REG at my fingertips. :P

I always have the REG handy on the computer, Mike.  Matt was just as obedient and respectful to my judging as ever.  That is how 'iive' mistakes are made.  Sorry, Matt.   :)

I agree with Roys ruling. You put sites into battle to gain acess to a lost soul, not so you can nagate the special ability on a site. The regs says you can use multiple sites meaning if one gets discarded or taken you can add another on for access. I don't think you should be allowed to put sites into battle if its not for site acess. That is not the intent of the reg entry.

Intent really doesn't matter. As it reads now, you can. If they decide to change it because they intend it to be different, now they can. I really like this ruling.

Sure it does. Just like how you need to look at intent when you read the Constitution.

+1. Split Alter does not apply here.

I believe Gabe quoted the new REG.

The cost of putting Nazareth in your deck is that you can't search. Its pretty cheeap if you can just shove it into battle not for site access but just to avoid the cost.

I quoted the old REG that was written years ago.

That dosen't mean i'm right. Thats why I'm looking forward to the type 2  tournament. With about six elders present we can hash things out in person.
