1. Can Herod Phillip II be negated after his effect activates and he is put into deck?
Herod Philip II (Di)
Type: Evil Char. • Brigade: Gold • Ability: 7 / 9 • Class: Warrior • Special Ability: If another Herod is in play, return a Hero with strength greater than X to territory. You may place this card beneath deck to add a Herod to battle. • Play As: If another Herod is in play, return a Hero with strength greater than X to territory. You may place this card beneath deck to add to battle a Herod.

2. Can Faith as a Mustard Seed interrupt the ability of a Herod's Dungeon when used? The character is not in the site yet (meaning he is not occupied). If it is ruled the character is in the site, why can the character use an enhancement (as he is a captured hero)?
Faith as a Mustard Seed (Di)
Type: Hero Enh. • Brigade: Purple/Yellow • Ability: 3 / 2 • Class: None • Special Ability: If used by a N.T. Hero, interrupt an occupied Site, an evil Enhancement, or a non-human Evil Character and remove it from the game.
Herod’s Dungeon (TP)
Type: Site • Brigade: White • Ability: None • Class: None • Special Ability: While blocking with a Herod while this Site is unoccupied, you may capture a male human Hero with strength 7/* or greater and place it here. When you block with Herodias, you may discard a captured Hero.

3. Does Destructive Sin negate enhancements as well? Why does it say "special abilities on that hero"?
Destructive Sin (TP)
Type: Evil Enh. • Brigade: Orange • Ability: None • Class: Territory • Special Ability: Place on a Hero. While this card remains, negate special abilities on that Hero and its owner's good Fortresses and Covenants.

Right it cbn because it cannot be targeted. So it is essentially cbi.

I don't see why you couldnt't. It is simply the first year you can, which is why it seems odd.

Because it means special abilities printed on that hero. If it was intended to mean enhancements it would have said sa's used by that hero.

1.) No.  Shuffle is CBI, so beneath deck would be the same.
2.) *shrug*  I'd say no?  In order for it to be occupied, the battle is already lost.
3.) no.

1. While I don't really like the HPII ruling, I agree that it is logically correct. HPII cannot be interrupted

2. I would say that FaaMS cannot interrupt Herod's Dungeon, since it is not occupied until the Hero actually goes there.

3. DS only negates Hero SA's, not GE SA's. Some Heroes have multiple abilities, which is why it says special abilities, though I agree that if it said "negate that Hero's special ability" it would do the same thing, and be consistent with other wording.
