THE Ultimate Redemption deck-->there is NONE better

Hello all,
If you have Hamachi/RTS and can keep a secret, then you may want a challenge.  I have toiled and struggled and created THE Redemption deck.  It is UNBEATABLE!!!  However, I dare you to try!  This deck is so good and so unfair that I will not use it for the online tourney, but if you must see it and can keep a secret then I will play you with it.  Simply ask/request:  I want to play your ultimate deck!  Play it with an open mind to see it's power!  This deck is Type 1 and is the fastest ever to draw out consistently.  Without fail, it will draw out in 4 turns or less!  Yet, it can't be stopped!  It laughs at rains become dust!  It laughs at all common arch-types.  Players, beware!

Running tally of people vanquished:

I will not lock the thread right away, but if the secret is ruined then this thread will be locked.  The secret is as important and mystifying as the deck!!!!

It is truly THE Soul Seeker's Deck!!!

hahaha, ok, I'll bite simply because I'm far too curious (and bored) for my own good. I'd like the play "THE Redemption Deck" and I promise not to spoil it.

are you on an hamachi network, and if so which one?   I'm not sure I've seen you on it?  If you are, then let me know your network and when you're available to play.

I don't know what to say about this deck. After playing it and looking through the REG for the most obscure of cards, I can't find an effective counter your average person can use to defeat this deck (I say average person because obviously a deck built by me can defeat it :p. Thats because I'm from Minnesota and Minnesotans always win though.)!

Mind if I take this deck to nats? I want teh 1st place!!!one!!

My guess is that's it's actually just a G starter deck.

My guess is that it's an illegal deck, because if it were legal then Jon would be busting us all upside the head with it in the tournament or keeping it a total secret until big tournaments :)

Therefore, I'm going to guess that it is the infamous almost all LS type deck.

hmmm, I'm not in any of those.  if you know the password, then I probably can join one of them if there is room.  Otherwise, we will have to PM our connection code some time when we are both on.

it does NOT have more than 1 of each dominant in it....unlike another MN deck that i've played recently!   You must play it to find out what it DOES have in it!

sorry, I don't have AIM...I boycott all things AOL.

In reality, Mark knows me too well.  It was an April's Fools prank to brighten my spirits.  Not too many people fell for it.  Thanks for ruining a good joke Prof Underwood!   :P

Sorry for spoiling your joke Jon, but besides knowing you, the clues as to it's quick draw (impervious to RBD) and calling it the "Soul Seekers Deck" were just a bit too much for me to not at least try to guess :)

Still I'm sure it was fun, and I would've enjoyed seeing the reactions of the people playing against it :)

If it is all Lost Souls and SoGs, we really need to figure out a way to activate Altar of Ahaz XD

There is only one SoG...besides the illegality of the amount of Lost souls...it was legal.   If you can call something illegal, legal.

Ah, I remember the days when it wasn't illegal to have more than the minimum number of lost souls...fun times.

Today it would be great to just put all the dominants and all the pre-battle ignore cards in with a pile of lost souls....Fun....

I remember JDS asking a long time ago, probably on the newsgroups, if the number of souls in the deck was a minimum or an exact number. Most of us (myself included) couldn't figure out why on earth you'd want MORE lost souls in your deck.

I don't remember it actually being legal to have more souls though.

Hey,

I don't remember it actually being legal to have more souls though.

I had a friend that played one in 1999 I think.  Based on the wording in the rulebook at the time it was not illegal to have more lost souls than the minimum required for the deck.  Of course in that day what was legal in one playgroup often differed from what was legal in another playgroup.

I don't think he won many games with it, but the games were always close.  Hopper would have helped the deck a ton :)
