"Back to Basics" online tournament

ok here's what we'll do
we'll have games every season after we have a preseason to test this new kind of tournament out.
we'll be using Type 1 deck building rules and we will use decks from G/H. no expections except when new starters will be released

we will have a preseason to get the tournament going.
this tournament is for fun and to help beginners grow in experiance.

Scoring:
here's how to score:

Wins: 3 points
Losses: 2 points

there will be no ties and if there are ties it will result in a game to break the ties.

Records:
ok i will be keeping record of your wins and losses like Type nw but record don't matter, i have records so you the players can know how your doing

who to play:
when the tournament begins i will have written names down on paper and draw random names or have help from someone on who will play in the first round.
but after that you the players will have to challenge.
you can only challenge up to 3 above you.

this is minor but i'd like to help the in-experiance becme experiance so i need to know who all is intrested?

Yo Raven, I'm already starting a tournament kind of like that where you can't use any card above the C/D starter decks. Check it out right below this thread.

Can you combine and mix up the G/H starter deck or do you have to use them how they come?
Hope you catch the fire for him!

Imo 3rd Edition Starters were not at all good or balanced out properly unlike the 2nd Edition Starters which were the bomb! But a Starter tourney is a nice idea.

I'm not down with that.
