It's spelled "Mageduckey" - that's the 2nd (or 3rd) time now that you've left out that poor little second "e".

Good point. That was one of the stranger ways I've had my username changed.

However, you still left out the "e" on the initial post (with the rankings and match-ups).

Those rankings may have to be adjusted. I sent Justin a PM earlier in the week about the ROOT game, and he didn't get a chance to respond until Sunday night, when I wasn't available (nor was I available on Monday). He had alluded to possibly giving me ghost points since he hadn't been able to get to my message before Sunday, but he also noted that he forgot Monday was an option. I'll let him speak to that - no hard feelings either way.

1 - It sounds like you were free early in the week, and he was free late in the week. It is unfortunate that your schedules didn't line up, but that doesn't sound like overwhelming reasons to consider either of you ghosting the other person.

2 - I didn't receive any notification either here on the thread or by PM that there was any possibilities of ghost points prior to the Mon midnight PST deadline. That would also typically mean no one would be charged with ghosting.

For both of these reasons, I will leave the rankings where they are. Hopefully we'll all get our games in this week.

Yeah that's basically what happened. I was on for a bit on Sunday and then for a bit on Monday night in case that would have worked, but my work schedule was simply too hectic early in the week. I am fine with any decision.

Wow, that is tragic, Chris (the prayer thing, not the ROOT thing). I will pray for you and your brother as well as the girlfriend and families involved. From what you shared, it seems like this guy really loved the Lord and was following God's calling in his life. Therefore we know from Romans 8:28 that God will work this all out for good.

As for ROOT, would you like me to just pull you out for the last couple weeks?

Pulling me would be great I am really sorry and hope no one is offended I know Chris or I pulling out after a loss looks bad but it was not the intention. Thank you for the prayers and support mark. Funeral is tomorrow and though it will bring closure it also brings finality which makes it very hard for lots of people.
