Selling My Collection

Hey everyone,

Its has been a fun last 11 years in the game, but now seems like good time for me to step away from the game.
I will be selling off my entire collection. This includes most of the tournaments promos, A few TxP, Complete or very close to complete of every set prior to TxP.  I have my duplicates or any card that you would see in a good tournament deck since I have been doing type 2 the last few years. I'd like to sell the collection all at once if someone is interested. Please pm me offers or ask me some questions if you are interested.

Good Luck to everyone the rest or this tournament season.

Why?
This is the way Lackey gave it to me. All hail the power of Lackey!

There are many factors leading to my exit from the game.
Some of them game related but most are due to personal reasons,
basically I feel selling my collection is going to give me a better opportunity
to have funds available to go back to school.

Also from the offers I will probably sell my collection in smaller chunks either it be complete sets or decks. Possibly inventory and sell cards as singles but this will take quite a bit of time since I have well over 4,000 cards

I do not know you, but it is always sad to see a Redemption player leave the game. My advice would be to please just keep a starter deck, and make sure to rejoin the game as soon as you have the money! :)

Here are some general suggestions for success at selling a large number of cards.

1.  Pull out all the Ultrarare and Promo cards that you have.  Almost all of these have a gold border around them.
2.  Check out what those cards are worth by going here www.threelionsgaming.com.
3.  Decide whether you want to sell all the cards as individuals (so individual players will buy them) or in bulk.
     a.  Individuals: set the price far below what you see at the above site if you want to sell quickly.
          1.  If a card is worth more than $10, then sell it for 75% of value
          2.  If a card is worth between $5 and $10, then sell it for 50% of value
          3.  If a card is worth less than $5, then sell it for $1
     b.  Bulk: It depends on whether you want your collection to be bought by resellers or playgroup leaders.
          1.  Resellers: set the price at around half of what the total value of the Ultrarare/Promos are and wait for offers.
          2.  Playgroup leaders: split the collection into groups of 500 card sets.  Split the Ultrarare/Promos into equal
groups so that each set gets an equal amount.  Then post the options on the forum and wait for offers.

Nate, I'd try making themed groups and selling then seperately.

Hey Nate,
Are you going to be at any of the big tourneys this year (like NY or PA states)?  I wouldn't mind picking through your collection because I don't think I have enough to offer for all of them what you are hoping to get.
I may send you a wish list after this Friday (my playgroup is getting together for local).  I know I want any Haman Plots that you may have.
