--------------------------------------SOLD--------------------------------------

Hey everyone! I used to play Redemption quite a bit but life has taken away my free time. I have now come to the time where I need to sell them!

I have a rather large collection including:

-99% of Warriors
-99% Womens
-90% Limited ->Faith of Our Fathers
-Some Rock of Ages
-140+ Ultra-rares [Soldier of God, King of Tyrus(Wa), Authority of Christ x2, Elijah, Falling Away x3, Harvest Time(Wa)]
-800+ Rares
-5,000+ Common/Uncommon
-Signed Cards [King of Tyrus (WA)Rob Anderson/Book of the Covenant Doug Gray/Failed Objective Rob Anderson]
-2 Blank Cards (Wa + H Deck)
-Error Cards (Faith as Children/Ahab x2)
-500+ Sleeves (Varying)
-40+ Pack Barcodes

--------------------------------------SOLD--------------------------------------

PM or email me if you are interested in a purchase of the collection; thank you!

EDIT: I would strongly prefer selling the collection as a whole.

I understand you're interested in selling the collection as a whole, but I doubt anyone would be able to purchase the whole thing :(

If you decide to sell individuals, I'd like to reserve the Nicolas of Antioch and Destruction of Nehustan I see in your image, PM sent to discuss.

I am aware that there is not a large demand for 'high-value Redemption card collections', but this sale is more oriented towards card dealers or collectors. If I find absolutely no one interested buying the collection I'll consider single card sales!

I have not kept myself updated concerning Redemption matters recently. I'm not sure how all the pricing has changed since 2008 or so when I quit, but I think a general value for my collection would be around $600-$800. So if i could put a number on it I would be willing to negotiate a sale around $300. Thanks for the interest everyone!

To help everyone, how about anyone with an offer on individual cards from the set sends me a PM, and perhaps I will end up purchasing the collection and can then split it up per those offers?

The most I've seen any collection of only random cards (read: no unopened packs, complete sets, etc.) go for in the last 6 years is about $200.  So I'll enjoy watching the bidding on this one to see if there's a new record :)

As for individual offers on cards, I think it would be best for people to just post their offers publicly on this thread rather than through PMs to either the seller or Ken.  That lets the seller know how much money he could make by splitting it up rather than selling it as a whole.  It also lets Ken know how much he could make by reselling them after buying the lot.  It also lets individuals know how much they need to bid if they want that individual card.  For all these reasons, open bidding is best for everyone.

Update everyone!

Thank you so much for your interest in the sale. I am discussing the sale with multiple people. The price range so far is $350+. If anyone else is still interested let me know. I may sit on this for a couple days and see what I can get for it to make some ends meet. Hopefully we have two happy people by the end of this!

For curiosity sake, please let us know what the final offer is for this lot. Congrats!

I will notify this thread of the sale when it is completed!

Thanks everyone, Godbless!
Tim.

I am bowing out of going for the Nicolas of Antioch.  As I said in my original post, I'm only in if you go to selling individual cards, and it looks like you may have a buyer for the lot.  If for some reason the purchase of the lot falls through, let me know and I'll be interested particularly in the Nic and the signed cards.  Otherwise, congrats on getting them sold :)

WHAT??!?!?!?!?! WOW you sir are a lucky man! I recently sold a much larger collection for $200ish and I thought I was asking too much considering the market! I was also a little more anxious to get rid of the collection but still!

No kidding....

Is anyone else still buying... I have a lot more than this...  ;)

Nice collection.  I think the key for any bid going over $300 is the presence of the Warrior booster packs and the Three Lions/Redemption cash.  I paid $235 for a collection very similar to this, minus the those items.  $400 is still a good deal.  There are many hidden costs into building a collection this size so the gross value is much higher than stated.

Hidden costs = gas, tournament fees, shipping, basically any money a player spends to build the collection over time.  ;)

Very well said. I spent 17 years with "the other" card game and I know "exactly" what you mean Stamp.
