I recently started my new job teaching at a Christian school here in Florida. There are big financial considerations that I will need prayer about, but my more immediate need is related to Redemption.

My new school has an "elective" period at the end of the day which is more like clubs than classes. I was asked what interests I had that could be used for one of those electives. I mentioned Redemption, and I was surprised by the strong support I received from the other teachers.

I met with the students who signed up for my elective, none of which had ever heard of Redemption, and they all are very excited to learn. I have 25 students ready to start playing next week.

The dilemma is that I need 25 starter decks, but I cannot afford to buy them. I have enough older cards to create simplified decks for teaching purposes, but that will deplete my Lost Soul stack. I had set aside hundreds of LSs for Booster Draft at my tournaments.

Alternatively, if you are willing to trade complete starter decks, I will entertain those offers as well.

I will consider buying LSs or starter decks, but remember that money is an issue for me right now, so it would have to be an offer I couldn't refuse.

I would indeed be interested in the older starter decks (other than A/B). I really did not want to have all 25 students playing with the same two decks. 

I think I have one J deck and two I decks (or possibly vice versa, not sure ATM) that are maybe a few cards shy of being complete. I will, check when I get home. I know that I don't have any of the generic LSs from the decks, but I could replace them with some other extra LSs I have (I like to keep sets of 8 generic LSs for lending in BD).

They do not have to be complete starter decks, since I have plenty of older cards to fill in the gaps. Even without the LSs they would be helpful, since I may be able to get the LSs from others here on the Boards.

I would like to keep as much of my BD stash on hand as possible. Like Jordan, I keep 8 each of all the generic LSs. Therefore, I will need 7 LSs for each of the new 25 decks, which is 175 minimum. I have a good chunk of that already (not including my BD stash), but I'm still looking to get 100 or more.

That's awesome news! I was a Christian school teacher for the past 3 years here in Iowa, and first thing, just know that God is going to provide financially. He will certainly bless the sacrifice of making (a lot) less than at a public school - you will see!

I trust God's plan, whether it is providing financial stability, or possibly having me be willing to give up my dream home and live a simpler life. We'll see what His plan is as the school year moves on.

Sounds good to me!    Let me know what you are looking for in return.

Also I could send you just about as many random commons and other cards from packs and stuff as you want.  Mostly stuff that competitive players would never use, but you might find a few things.

If you do want to buy I decks, I have 10 of them that I could sell for $3 each plus shipping ($5.50 would ship all of them).

God is good. Your new opportunity is very exciting. Once you have received stuff from the above guys, let me know what you are lacking and I will see what I can do to finish off your initial needs at the very least.

I have now been able to hand out 8 G starters, 8 H starters, and 2 each of E & F. This was in addition to the 25 30-card starters I had made to get them going. I was able to share with them how their decks were donated by the Redemption community, especially MJWolfe. The students were stunned by the generosity of people as far away as California. Special thanks also went out to Jesse from Iowa.
