1995 unopened decks

My kids were just given a double pack (unopened) of Redemption cards along with 4 unopened Booster packs. The decks are dated 1995. Are they worth anything?
Thanks for your help,
Loralee

Is the double pack thing still shrink-wrapped? If so (which guarantees mint, unplayed condition), then that is probably worth around $20...it's more of a collector's item at this point. The booster packs (despite being from 1995) are still readily available and only worth $1 each retail.

Have you checked the REG?
Have you looked it up in ORCID?

Don't sell it... Get into the game! More fun than whatever you could do with the amount of money you'd get from selling it. Now if you just want the worth the whole package could be sold for around $24 depending on person.

Actually I would recommend trading them.  You could get more than $24 worth of cards for them, and the cards you would get would be a lot better for actually playing with than the original cards.  As someone first getting into the game, you don't really want a collectors item, you want something that is actually fun to play with.

I bet someone would be willing to trade an E/F or a G/H starter set, both of which are much more fun to play with, and are worth less, so they could probably throw in some other really useful cards to even the deal.

I just found out that my post actually went through: each time I tried, it would act like it was loading for about 1o minutes, then give me a page that said "Bad Report", so I assumed that I wasn't getting through! Thanks for all your replies. I will pass this info on to my kids, though we don't know anyone else personally who plays this game (never even heard of it before!), so is it worth opening them and reducing the value?

PS The Double Deck (actually all of it) is completely wrapped and unopened.

The market section here would probably be the best place to trade or sell it. There are a bunch of collectors and players that frequent this section.

And you would be better off trading it than opening it because you could get a more exciting deck and some extras in exchange for what you do have.
