Blanket negate EC is fantastic, but with the way defense works nowadays, Abigail's protection is devastating.  Plus she draws.  Plus she bands to someone who can ignore any royalty.  Yeah, Abigail is much better.

This one is even more clear-cut for me.  Thad.

I voted for John.

Uses TGT? Check.
Negates evil characters? Check.

He's one of the only Disciples who can make a rescue attempt with one support card (either an enhancement or TGT) and reasonably expect to make the rescue. Thad is a powerhouse in full Disciples decks, and when I build them I usually build so I can abuse Thad as much as possible, but full Disciple decks simply aren't good right now, whereas a case can be made for Gardensciples or even splashing a very small TGT/Disciples group into another offense.

John on this one. Clearly the strongest disciple in the game right now.

This one is tough.  Both can win battles simply by being pushed into battle, including stopping chump blocks.

I went with Thad for this reason:  If your opponent is playing a light defense, he probably won't be able to stop either one, even if Thad doesn't have his full posse in play.  However, if your opponent has a decent defense, he might be able to stop John with a negate, a CBIg card, or a battle extender like UW or UN.  Thad can still be invincible, no matter the size of your opponent's D.
If creation sings Your praises so will I
If You gave Your life to love them so will I
