which came first

I am working on my complete database of all redemption cards and I have two questions, which came first. Did they print the A/B starter decks first or the Limited set. the same question for A/B versus unlimited set.

A/B starter deck and limited set both were printed at the same time. Same thing goes for unlimited.

No there was a little time difference as per the difference in the print variations in the starter decks and the main set. I just don't now which came first

I am pretty sure the starter decks came before the set if there was much of a difference at all. I don't remember there being that many lost souls in the booster packs. There was no rule Books so no one would know how to play the game if the booster packs came first.

Let me clarify this. They starter decks and the limited set came out at the same time, But one was printed before the other because there are print variations in the cards.  I have almost gotten together a complete list of all the variations I was just trying to figure out which one was printed first

Can you explain what the print variations are on some of the cards? Are you asking what is the time frame difference between the limited and unlimited?

Yes I can elaborate.  On some of the cards they change the punctuation in the verse or they reworded the verse just a little bit by switching letters around or changing the words, one of the cards for example fiery dart the Crimson card the picture has been zoomed in a little bit on one of the variations you can tell this by looking at the dart that is the highest in the picture and the tail is a little bit longer visible on some of the cards turn on the others.  The  same zoom in was used for the red card Christian soldier. I am just trying to get an idea of which set came first . I am considering writing a article with all the variations listed if anyone is interested?

Of course all of the variations I am referring to right now are just in the Limited and A/B Limited sets.

I've seen some of those variations and yes I would be interested in seeing an article on the rest of them. The only person that can truly answer this question would be

I now have confirmation from Rob Anderson and I quote

"The Limited Edition starter decks and the Limited Edition booster packs were
printed at the same time.  However, these were printed on separate press
sheets.  These 6 press sheets were:

Starter Deck A
Starter Deck B
Common Sheet
Uncommon Sheet
Rare Sheet
Promo card sheet

However, the art director at the time built the cards files separately for
each press sheets rather than building the card once and copying it.  Don't
ask me why because there is no good answer to that.  For these reasons you
see a number of variations even for the same card. Rebecca is a good
example.

When we reprinted all of the above and added in cards in an Unlimited
Edition, we mixed in the promo cards as part of the booster pack assortment
(Ex. Plague of Flies).  We made the card files once and then copied the same
card file to each press sheet.  Again it wasn't perfect.  Things still
slipped through such as Kindness having a Cross icon, not a Bible icon."

Now I know which came first and I can finish my list
