Various Card Play Questions.....

;D ;D ;D ;)So.  I have a couple situations I have run across and would just like some feedback, perhaps from some of you that I've played and other more experienced players.  (I still take advice from new people too...especially since I am one!) These are all seperate situations.  Treat them as such.

1.) I have Mayhem in my hand..I wait until my opponent draws 3.  I play Mayhem immediately.  Does my opponent have time to play/place a dominant (say GoYS for example) before Mayhem takes effect?

2.) I have Judges seat in play with Eli the priest sittin' 'n it.  I use it to discard my opponents Emperor Galba (currently equipped with Gold Shield, which boosts his toughness to 6 correct?).  The other evil characters my opponent has in play are Emperor Otho (already equipped with Namman's chariots and horses), lying spirit, and sabbath breaker.  My question is that because there is no other evil character able to hold a weapon, and since Otho already has one then the weapon is discarded as well correct?

3.) When you fall away a 2-liner, how many souls come back with it?  And say it is reshuffled, does it go back to two souls?

4.)  I have Simeon and Jacob in my territory.  I push Simeon forward to rescue a soul.  My opponent has Philistine Outpost (PO) and utilizes it to pull out fallen warrior.  My opponent appropriately asks for initiative, i politely say no and play Grapes of Wrath.  I begin a new battle (as it states on Grapes) and utilize Jacob.  I choose to play no enhancement on him at this time.  At this point, can my opponent use PO to grab another character?  I believe the answer would be yes, but clarification would help.

5.) Salome attempts a rescue against me.  I push out Damsel with the spirit of divination (equipped with Magic Charms) to block.  I enter battle and therefore can discard charms to capture Salome, but at what point can my opponent play AOTL?  I know that special abilities complete before AOTL can be used, but can it be used before Charms?  I spoke to BrianGabe about this and believe I'm straight on the answer, but am curious to see what everyone else has to say.

6.) My opponent pushes John into a rescue attempt.  I block with Damsel (Cannot be interrupted).  Now John is preventing her ability from ever happening correct?

Good luck at whomever attempts to reply to this.  Thanks for all the help you patient teachers.  Hopefully this answers some questions of other people too!!!

1. Mayhem takes immediate effect and nothing can be played until its ability completes. If, however, they lay down GoYS at the same time you play Mayhem, they would win priority since they would be responding to their own action (that of drawing).

2. First, discarding Galba with Judge's Seat/Eli the Priest is not a legal play. Judge's Seat specifies "Evil Character with toughness" so enhancements don't figure into that calculation (even weapon-class ones). Second, assuming Galba is discarded by some other means, the enhancement would follow him to the discard pile even if you did have another warrior-class character that didn't currently have a weapon. (I believe these are both the case, though I could be mistaken).

3. It comes back as being half rescued. If it is then shuffled it resets.

4. Outpost does not stipulate once per turn, so he should be able to use it again.

5. You get to respond to your own actions, so if you move to discard MC to capture and your opponent slaps down AotL, you and your MC would be given priority.

6. Yes. It is prevented before it can happen, so the cannot be interrupted does nothing.

I confirm all above answers.
I am not talking about T2 unless I am explicitly talking about T2. Also Mayhem is fine now somehow!

First, thanks so much for taking the time.  All who have answered.  If anyone else has a different take I would love to hear that as well.

1.)  This is what I thought but was played differently in a game because my opponent said "I was going to play it, but you never gave me a chance"..(I honestly don't remember who this was, so if it offends you, I don't mean it too). I thought that was the correct way.  Thanks for clearing this up.  ----Issue Solved---

2.) That is actually very helpful with Judges seat.  Knowing that enhancements do not affect it changes it greatly.  Thank you.  That being said, I was almost 100% positive that if another character in the territory had the ability to hold weapons that they could hold it.  Does this only work in battle?  Because I've played understanding that if I discard a creature holding a weapon, then the weapon has the chance to be "picked up" by another character.. Good or evil as the case may be.  Please clarify.

3.) Okay.  Thanks....---Issue Solved---

4.) Awesome.. Thanks...---Issue Solved---

5.) According to others though I don't even have to be in battle to use it, and further more if I am in battle they have the chance to AOTL my character before I use it because it is a may option.  Please clarify....

6.) That's what I was explained too.  Thanks.. This whole negate, interrupt, prevent thing is tough to wrap your head around as a new player....right guys??  Thanks....---Issue Solved---

So, even though I have had many questions answered (Issue Solved) I would still love to hear from others what they think, for those who have time to right this much   :D :D :D

Thanks guys.

the weapon class enhancement follows the character to the discard pile too. That would be cool though. Create something like recyclable weapons XD

2. Correct, that's only in battle.

5. It's correct that you don't have to be in battle, and any time it's a legal play you can use it without waiting. If your opponent wanted to play AotL on the bearer, he should have done it long ago. Of course, if right when he pushes the Hero into battle you slap your guy in there and Discard it, a Judge will often rule in favor of AotL, so make sure you wait a few seconds, and if you want to be extra sure, either wait for him to say "RA" or ask him, "RA?".

If you have two evil characters in battle and one has a weapon and the other is warrior class then the one with the weapon gets discarded, then I do believe the other could retain the weapon IF it was the same brigade.

Correct, but not discarding in the territory like Judge's seat does, which is the situation that I was concerned about.  Thanks.
