T2 Starter Decks?

I dont know if the idea has been brought up before but, I think Cactus should consider the idea of making T2 starter decks. They could include basic offense/defense with a few multiples of key cards. It would also be nice to include a few T2 staples from prior sets (Tassels, NT only, Access of some form Writ, ect.). This would help T1 players get interested in T2 and help them acquire the cards to make T2 decks. It could also help T2 sealed to become an official category. Thoughts?

I didnt really know where to put this so a mod can feel free to move it.

It's pretty easy to buy two of the current starter decks and make a T2 deck from that.  You'd only need to add a few (5-10) cards.

The idea of T2 starters has been discussed in the past, and I'm generally against the idea. It's a nice concept, but it would be twice as expensive to purchase a T2 starter as a T1 starter, and in general, I think offering T2 starter decks and T1 starters would get confusing to potential new players. Plus, as Randall mentioned, one can simply combine two T1 starters to make a T2 deck.

I've been interested in T2 but really don't see where to begin. And honestly I don't see mashing starter decks together as a viable starting point...

The point of a starter deck is to get new players, well, started. T2 is not for new players, and when you've reached the point where you are considering making the jump to T2, you are more than capable of doing so without a premade deck.
I am not talking about T2 unless I am explicitly talking about T2. Also Mayhem is fine now somehow!

I agree, I was just saying T1 starter decks are no place to begin building a competitive T2 deck

The T1 starter decks aren't very close to making a competitive T1 deck either.

You really think so? The top two places in sealed at nats used starter decks, for the most part.

I checked, there's evil cards other than dominants and Uzzah, therefore they can't be very good.

I remember years ago Eric Largent did an article on Shaef's website about making affordable T2 decks. It needs updating but it is well written.
