Why isnt SoG an ultra rare? It's the only sure way to get a Lost Soul. Same with AoTL

Both of these statements are incorrect.

SoG fails with Altar of Ahaz up, or if the only souls out are N.T. / */4 / etc...

AoTL fails vs bands, Unknown Nation, Prince of Persia, etc...

Actually, it is UR.  One version....  Also, URs cannot be found in a starter deck which SoG is.

Giving newer players access to two of the best cards in the game helps level the playing field (a little)

actually aotl can beat the prince if it's FBTN
