I just voted for White.

Of my 18 real life casual decks, White NT females consistently has the highest winning percentage. They have cards for speed (First Fruits, Words of Encouragement, Suzanna, etc.) They can access every lost soul except First Round Protect. They have a healthy amount of interrupts and negates. They have CBN abilities and enhancements. They can crush demons. They have banding. They have Garden Tomb, which is STILL a big problem for certain defenses. They have some impressve battle winners. They have excellent territory class ability. About the only thing they are "weak" in is site access, and Temple Veil and Ends of the Earth can help with that. They also were not very good at getting initiative, but Suzanna and Joseph of Arimathea have helped a great deal in that regard. I can't really pin it down to one thing, but something about that deck just wins practically every time.

Seeing Purple out in front is no surprise, in light of Disciples. (Even though I have not made a Disciples deck yet.) But where is the love for Teal and Blue? Are Genesis and Z-Temple considered "weak" now, or just so "old" that no one plays them anymore?

For me, Purple edged out Teal....other colors are likely stealing votes from Teal.

I'm not sure if Blue had a decent shot to win this year. In fact, I would be curious how this vote would have turned out in past years.

I don't remember blue ever being top tier. Even when Tim Mierzasd;kfjpio3rjl;kdsgbvlkaru won nat with it in 2008(?), I wouldn't say it was the best brigade.

Yes, but with them boosting the Genesis theme even more with Leah, Eve, etc, I really expected to see it higher. I think others are right though, that because we cannot choose our top 3, it is getting passed over, like Teal is.

Red. Abigail(David's wife) -all heroes gain 0/6 when she is on the field(she also gets that perk).
The Centurions-access to any site
Walking on the water(promo enhance)-interrupt the battle and make all NT heroes immune to all evil brigades.
Power of the Cross(red enhance)-convert any human evil character to a red brigade hero.

those are cards that I use in my decks (I am still a new player,but it makes people work to beat me:)

As for the others, White-used with Red before, Teal-haven't used yet, Same with Green,Yellow and Silver, Blue-probably didn't choose right cards
Purple-used with Red and White.

Just my humble opinion, folks.

Well I decided to cast my vote for teal. Phineas has won me some battles, just because of his ability. I also think that the Z-tample priests with house of eleazar Identifiers are pretty useful when you have both Cov with Phineas, and Z-temple out.

It is a semi-decent brigade though to be honest -

CTB via OoN
Play-first via Jacob
Initiative and CBN from Benjamin
Recursion through Asher
Searches via Pillar at Bethel.
A decent amount of both in-brigade and cross-brigade banding.
One of the best TC enhancemets outside of Benedictus (Abe's Kids)

About the only thing it doesn't have is a character that benefits from having a ton of Blue dudes out. (Eve does not count for this.....)

The biggest problem I have with Blue are all the "If all your heroes are Genesis heroes ..." cards. It feels too restrictive to me when I can't easily blend in Job or Thomas.

I've never done that for Benjamin, but I've often Martyred, Writted, Charmsed or otherwise incapacitated a Hero that was in Zebulun's way. Those pesky Philistines keep getting converted...

I'm assuming that's because he uses a full-size Genesis offense. Full-size offenses need to retain too many cards in hand for Zeb to be terribly effective.

It wasn't asked, but I think white is a very close second. Most other brigades are good, it's just these 2 are head and shoulders above the rest. Red is the only one that just limps along-the Rodney Dangerfield of Redemption.

I mostly play T2 so I am biased for that playstyle.

White is probably "Head and Shoulders" above the rest because it eliminates dandruff, and Purple is "head and shoulders" above the rest because of King Saul
