Playing Cannot Be Interrupted

Can someone help me out with playing a card that says "cannot be interrupted"?

As I understand it:
1) If the card says"cannot be negated" = nothing can stop it
2) if the card says "cannot be prevented", it can be interrupted and prevented (or, negated?) AFTER it is played, not before.
3) If the card says "cannot be interrupted", it can be prevented before it is played, but not negated after? I need clarity on this.

4) are there any situations where "interrupt and prevent" does NOT equal "negate" in this game?

You switched CBI with CBP. CBP cannot be negated before and CBI cannot be negated after.

No...he did not get it backwards, it is just typed in such a way that you could read it wrong. YES, your understanding of those three mechanics are correct. As for question #4, I believe there is never a time those do not work that way but I may be missing an exception to these rules if anyone else wants to fill us both in on what that might be.

Agree, and for #4 "interrupt and prevent" is an archaic term that now means negate.  It does not mean the same in reverse, but that is how it is currently used in the game.

So when a "cannot be interrupted" card is played (damsel with spirit of divination), any "negate characters" card played after damsel enters battle doesn't affect her?
(but would take effect if played before her)

Correct.
