New to the game, starters

I do not have the starters yet but I am waiting on the I/J 4th edition set to come in.  It will most likely be just my family of 4 playing.  Should I get another I/J starter set to play 4-player or should I look at the older starters?

I'd like to play with those starters for awhile and then go from there.  I have looked at some older posts about starting out so I have an idea.

Another question I had is that the downloaded 4th Edition Rulebook does not really talk about sites and artifacts.  Is there a more complete rulebook in the actual starters or one online?

Thank you.

I would get some G/H decks to have some varity in your playing (the G/H rulebook talks about sites and artifacts also). You can also have some fun combining the two different decks to make more powerful decks.

I completely agree with Luke...perhaps even and E/F starter as well. Welcome to the boards!

Thank you for the replies.

It looks like the E/F starters are sold out so I will look around for those.

Ken from three lions gaming has the individual cards for sale, and cris bany has the E/F complete decks for sale. As a bonus, the E/F decks come with a special greek angel of the lord and greek SoG!

Just in case you are still looking for the 3rd edition starter decks (E/F), looks like you can get them new for less than $10 from Amazon - cheaper than used from eBay.

Of the starter decks I have I think these ones look like my favorite.

Thanks for the post.  I actually found them at a store, Atomic Empire, while in Raleigh for the Comic-Con a couple weekends ago.
