You're about 10 years too late :-)
Talk to SirNobody. His younger brother Matt still is hanging around Omaha. Also, our friend, Wes would be up for a game. Then, there's the non-card-carrying member of Wildcard Derek, but he never got any Redemption cards of his own.

Hey! I'm in Drs Moines, I travel over that way from time to time. It may not be a playgroup, but it's better than nothing. I travel over to Gabes part of Iowa when he has tournaments of you ever wanted to meet in Drs Moines and I could drive the rest of the way. I'm always looking to play more games!
