How many enhancements pertain to Judas?

I know of Thievery of Judas, but I thought that there wasanother one. Is there?

Also, what are some heretic cards that are pertinant to a heretic defence? (besides the 3 musketeers, of course)

Pretty much all the crimson from the Disciples set is for Heretics. Wolves in Sheep's Clothing, Satan Enters Judas (if you're splashing demons in), Judas' Plot, Thievery of Judas, etc. Several of them relate to Judas as well, so that answers both your questions, lol.

I'd say Torment, Marketplace, and Escape (AW) would help a Heretic defense.

First of all, the ability you put for Judas' plot is actually the ability of thievery of judas.. not judas' plot... the one for satan enters judas was, what i believe the ability for judas' plot... what happened there? lol.

If you're playing T1, Heretics aren't much for a defense, especially a large one.

+1. I would go Babs or Assyrians. Or Israelite Kings.

The thing is, I like to make decks that other people rarely use (heretics in T1, for instance)... In my first 2 play tests, i have been somewhat successful. I am actually adding a few more heros than just saul paul now. I have AoCP (not promo) reach of desperation, trumplet blast, zeal for the lord for saul/paul, but now that i think about it, if i just incorporate thomas and joshua the high prest, i may not be in such a bad position. (and maybe throw in one coat of many colors)

Since I made it a "Saul/Paul" deck, it has given me the chance to focus mainly on my heretics and defence.

Ouch.  Heretics are a "protect and die" defense.  They don't have the stopping power that a heroless offense needs.

Again, I agree with Kittens. If you want to play Heroless, you need a defense that will last almost the whole game if needed.

I was losing at 4-0, and if i had more heroes, would have been able to come back and win. I have added a hero here and there, so that if i lose paul, its not the end of the world. My heretic defence actually does hold off for a substancial amount of time. Everytimeyou use that one heretic that removes a good card from opponents discard pile, just remove the good dominants. By the end of the game there is most likely many good dominants in their discard pile. Idk, it works for me. I am not going to change the mechanics of the deck, I'm just open to suggestions on how to increase its efficiency.

Like I said, I'm daring. I like to use deck types that are not normally used and try to make them work. (I refuse to ever make a disciples or TGT deck ever.)

If I can make a deck with very few heroes and use heretics (in addition to other charachters...) then awesome. I am able to accomplish something few to no other people have. Especially if it is successful in winning games.

Well if you want to improve, you probably should post in it T1 deck advice.

I definitely understand that. A lot of the fun of Redemption comes from making decks especially creative ones.

Yeah, once i make my final modifications, i plan on posting the whole thing in type 1 deck advice... I actually think this could be a very good deck. The only problem i've had in my 1-2 play tests is that i have a difficult time drawing my heroes. Especially when i only had saul/paul and Jepthah. and what happens when i draw my holy grail, but not my saul/paul, or vice versa? They both immediately become obsolete until i draw the other -_-

You could consider adding I Am Creator to have a way to search for your heroes.
