My favorite card is Babel.

do you see yourself using the site or the fortress more?

Depends on whether or not my opponent has Humble :P

More to the point, it depends on the deck and when I draw it. If I draw it turn one in a Flood deck, I'll probably do the site, grab an EC, and shuffle it with Noah to pull two of his kids and find it again later. If I already have a defense (and don't need someone specific), it might depend on how vulnerable they are to prevention.
ANB is good. Change my mind.

So here's an interesting question: FoM doesn't (IMO) have a chase card like TSC or 3W that goes in literally every deck. Of the three URs, which do you think will see the most play?

My money's on Babel, on account of just how splashable it is - easy reserve access as a site, and even if you're running an NT or nonhuman defense the fort is great. That said, Wages is insanely good in decks that run its brigades - and with Deciever, Foreign Wives, and even Firefoxes in almost every deck I could see it being thrown into reserves of decks that don't even run its colors (perhaps grabbed by Heart of Depravity). Fall of Man is also insanely strong - dominant restrictions are always powerful, and multibrigade evil battlewinners are nice. I do think that using it as a platform for the other curses is risky, considering how easy it will be to get rid of all of them at once (especially with the inevitable prevalence of R&D). In addition, most decks won't WANT all four - serpent's is only good with animals, birthing pains isn't bad but I don't think it's worth running unless you're already running grey (especially Romans). That said, I can see Cursed Ground making it into a lot of decks.

Again, my money's on Babel, but I look forward to seeing how it plays out.

Babel will probably see the most play, as it's the most splashable and i see it as costing less than the others. I think that wages is still the best though.

I would wager on Wages  ;D

Of the four brigades not represented on Wages, Brown and Pale Green both have multiple playable characters that can utilize Wages so it's not hard to include it decks that are primarily those brigades.

Certain Gray and Gold themes would have to stretch a little farther to get Wages access, but it's not impossible.

Babel will get thrown in pretty much every deck and whether it stays there will depend whether thining/city counters become meta.

Wages is just an amazing card all the time I can't think of any reason a deck with even a couple characters to play it wouldn't run it.

IMO FoM (the card) doesn't actually work in a way that will allow decks to run it unless they have a very narrow goal that requires it. It's symmetric so it's controller has to take it down to use their own battle doms and it's negatable so while there are going to be more Woes targets this season I don't think it will be much of a bother to Woes it for 1 turn to get your Martyr/Angel out.

I'm most excited about using the awesome O.T. Red Warrior cards like The Mighty Warrior, Benaiah, Caleb, and Jonathan, Son of Shimei.

I'm most dreading Canaanite & ANB shenanigans and the brutal deck discard/mill defense  :-[

I just thought of a t2 deck with the new red warriors and using 4x warrior spear and Egyptians to mill. Huge red band to d/c 1 to 4 cards...

Yes definitely could work- with 2-4 ASP you could be sniping on offense all game. Also hitting stuff from territory by combo-ing with Foreign Sword  :o

This type of deck makes me shudder in remembrance of JD's Sowing Bountifully-Sinning Hand T2 deck from a few years back...absolutely no fun to play against!!  ;D

What are the key cards that everyone want to see babel counter? It is mainly the chump blocks like uzzah and fire foxes or are there other cards you hope to see targeted?

Those are two big ones, with Music Leaders being a third. That said, I'm the type to run Moses and CwD, so something that does the same job only to my opponent is incredibleOh hi Golden Calf, didn't see you there. Doesn't stop the TC ones like others do, but full coverage prevention hits a lot of decks hard, and Sword of the Spirit and Foreign Wives see enough play that it'll find good value. A lot of initiative characters have great abilities, and this helps counter that.

Then again, Humble is a card, and is both OT and NT. Take that how you will.

Favorite cards from the new set are:
The Player Created Cards (Especially The Leviathan) + Flood Survivor Themed Cards

Cards that I would like to add my deck in the new set:
Flood Survivor Themed Cards and The Leviathan

Cards that I don't look forward to facing:
Whatever Filth JD is preparing with Women with the Child and Wages of Sin

You gotta admit though, he usually posted those “filthy” decks online before he goes to nats. Almost nobody does that lol

Best cards I see for t1

1. ANB (assuming it isn't nerfed) - all of the doms on all of the cards in play and another turn. Should stay the way it is and be UR but I get they don't want more chase UR doms
2. Wages of Sin - so many great cards over again that matter to winning
3. Gideon's Ephod - this card is easily splashed into a chump defense and can be auto blocks all day with Brown Crimson Outsiders
4. Prosperity soul - yay speed!
5. Life through Christ - not sure this is necessary but it is another way to some sweet heroes mostly WWC

Probably a few I will play that I missed..

Overrated cards:
1. Babel - pretty positive this card will see little play as a reliable counter in a winning strategy.. So many counter cards exist that people don't play because they are opportunity costs, why would someone play this over all of them? Assuming they are running defensive heavy red gold, throne, and flood survivors are running over them so hard by state they will have learned by nationals that defensive heavy is unreliable
2. Fall of Man - another UR I see as a sub optimal defensive strategy which isn't cbi and can be gotten rid of easily by many themes
3. Lost Anointing - feels like I'm already behind a turn to play this. I guess it can become regardless but compared to Leviathan this hardly looks like a player created card

I really like the idols in FoM. They should fit nicely in the reserve. Pretty sure I will be playing the brown/crimson outsiders in every type 1 defense I make. I also really like leviathan for a fast set up defensive wall between him and behemoth.

My favorite has to be The Leviathan... but mostly because of the art. I seem to have a thing for large blue sea monsters...

I really like the "Covet" and "Prosperity" Lost Souls. They are going to be staples in a lot of my decks.

It's very exciting to have a highly playable version fo Caleb! He's such an iconic character in the Bible. I'm happy to see him represented better in the game.

Idol Worship is a card that I see making it into a lot of my defenses.

The slaves are also going to be staples a lot of the time. Many of my play test decks ran 2 of them (when they fit on offense and/or defense).

Heart of Depravity is a great "toolbox" card that I include in almost every defense.

All four player made cards are really exciting. I like how they are versatile enough to be strong in multiple deck types but not an "every deck" card. They will always make the cut when the deck style accommodates them.

I think some people are misunderstanding FoM.  It’s effect sounds symmetric, but it is not.  It stops both players from using AotL in battle, but only stops your opponent from using CM and FA(CoW) as you can play yours before you have to block a rescue.  Not saying that FoM is for every deck, but is certainly decent as a curse (although curses are pretty easy to get rid of), and also a multicolor battle winner as an enhancement if that happens to be more relevant in any given game.
Life is what you make of it.

I agree. During testing if I didn’t main deck FoM I’d put it in my reserve. Even though the Curse creates parity if you use it with a little hand knowledge you can ensure a block or rescue where the opponent can’t stop you. The EE side isn’t as strong but it won me a battle at least once.

In a playtest game I was in, I used Obedience of Noah on one of my male Flood Survivors (choosing my own EC of a brigade my opponent didn't have) and also had Japheth's Wife in my territory as an add to battle back-up in case of Martyr or Falling Away. Much to my chagrin, he used Fall of Man to convert both the Hero in battle and Japheth's Wife so I couldn't use her add to battle ability...

Yeah there is a lot of anti-splash stuff in this set I feel like there isn't going to be a lot of splash out there but, I love using splash anyways
