Long overdue announcement. This information has been floating around for a while, but with no “official” announcement attached to it. So here it is!

Then the “big” announcement:
Israel’s Deliverance (K/L Starters) are still coming but delayed due to a request from owner Rob Anderson. Rob has requested us do a fundraiser style drive to help him fund the new starters. This is to not only help him but to help the community as a whole. Rob is always looking to make everything affordable to the entire community, so that is why he is asking for it to be this way. Here are the options (and reasons to help support if you can).
If help funded ahead of time by the community:
Cost: $20 (with wholesale options)
Card Count: 56 cards (which means we add two cards to the National release)
If not funded ahead of time:
Cost: $25 (with NO wholesale option, meaning exclusive to Cactusgamedesign)
Card Count: 54 cards (basically the Nats release)
So to clarify, the community will get two discounts both with retail and wholesale price as well as add two cards to the decks if we can help Rob fund the project. The current plan is to use something like Kickstarter to help fund this, but the method and items included are still being discussed to try to make sure we do this right.
One last important note: We are hoping to launch this fundraiser at the beginning of Spring. This does mean it is delayed a bit more, but this is the only way for Rob to release it to the community in the way he desires. Thank you for being patient with us. We look forward to God working and continuing His support for this game, which is also through all of you!
We will be doing a "Stretch Goal" (which is if we hit extra funding by a certain number, we will get this extra bonus) that is a "mini-set" named Redemption Roots, which will be rotation style cards that will replace all the "classic" cards that are in the packs.
If Roots is funded they will be included first within the release of Israel's Rebellion (set to release at 2023 Nats). Then it will also be included in future print runs of current sets. This means if Rob runs out of cards and needs a new print run (let's say Lineage of Christ) then those next packs created will include Roots instead of older cards.
As soon as we figure out what will be included in the "Tier Goals" (the things you choose to purchase to help support the project) we will let you know and drop the monetary goal for the project and Roots. PLEASE bear with us as we are taking this seriously and want to make sure we do the right things to hit the goals we are seeking to help support Rob and this game.
