A friend and I were arguing weither or not angels should have genders in Redemption because as far as we know angels don't have genders.

He was saying that angels shouldn't have genders, not what genders we currently assign to them.

The bible descibes angels in a masculine sense. So it it is assumed they are male. Example:Micheal Gaberieal(Yes I butchered the names)
Ironman 2016 and 2018 Winner.
3rd T1-2P 2018, 3rd T2-2P 2019
I survived the Flood twice.

Biblically speaking, they probably should all be male.  However, we've got the skeleton in the closet that is Angel Wars, and there are females who are most certainly not human.  (You could say they're about as human as AW is cannon).

We have no reason to believe there are no female angels either, just because all the ones that were described in detail were desribed as male, but that doesn't mean there couldn't be female ones, but its also possible that they don't really have genders (some people could quote Jesus saying that humans would be like angels in that we won't marry).
So I would say that if Cactus wants to make female angels, I don't see a problem with it, just because there aren't any female angel's described in the Bible doesn't mean they don't exist, just like we have female demons or certain Roman emperors who aren't mentioned in the Bible.

But its really unlikely that angel's have genders like we think of them, since they don't need to reproduce and such, but this is a game and because Angel's are often described in the context of human genders I don't see why they shouldn't have them.

Are you equally comfortable with a card that would refer to God as a "she", or a "daughter of God" card?  I doubt it, and of course I would not be either.  But certainly just because God and Jesus do not have genders in the same sense that humans do (to marry and reproduce and raise a family, as you say), doesn't mean that they have no gender.  In a BIBLE-BASED game, I suggest that if the bible always refers to angels (and God) in the masculine, then we should too.  Remember, God TOLD these men what to write, and He chose the word "he".  Just my opinion.

Of all the various beings, I'd say we know the least about angels.  That doesn't mean we should create wild speculation about them.
