Any MN players or anyone else headed through the vicinity of Kansas City with room for one more in the car pool? Flights are stupid expensive between KC and Texas for some reason and I don't have a car that is trustworthy for that long of a trip.

You're in KS now? I'm hoping to drive down from here and would have room for one more.
Y'all need to make that happen!!!!! Momentum!

If we do you better show up as well.

That'd be awesome!
I am not talking about T2 unless I am explicitly talking about T2. Also Mayhem is fine now somehow!

I would very much prefer regular T1-2P.  I probably would not go to nationals if T1-2P was LoC only.  LoC only offers a very small handful of deck configurations.  One of the most enjoyable parts of nationals for me is getting to see all the different deck ideas people have come up with.  Also, as others have said, many people do not have access to enough LoC cards to make a good LoC only deck, and those that do have likely been unable to playtest them do to COVID restrictions.

What events would you recommend to someone who is new or who hasn't played in awhile?

Don't forget sunscreen and water..Texas easily hits 100s in August

Sealed is an excellent format for this. You don't have to own any cards going in and if you learn all the starter deck cards beforehand you'll know what almost all the relevant cards on.

In addition Booster draft is also a solid pick.  You start with the same cards as all of your opponents (7 meek souls) so there isn't something like an advantage of having more and newer cards.  There is a large gap between a beginner and vet within this category, but it helps you acquire a large handful of cards and if you know what you are looking for then you have a chance to build a solid deck without ever really playing it much.

To all asking about available lodging spaces per cabin/cottage, I've populated OP #3 with info that also includes what cots/airmattresses need to be brought by occupants to maximize room numbers.

Big news for those traveling I-40 W through TN.  There is damage to the main bridge to travel from Tennessee to Arkansas.  There is another bridge that crosses the river but it is smaller and there are delays.

As venue lodging spaces start getting filled, I've created a separate thread to coordinate and maximize use of the venue's rooms instead of using other lodging venues.

To everyone whose OBSTACLE to being at Nats2021 is FINANCIAL:
1. Donate each forced savings into the GoFundMe project. But be very honest...the $ need to be 'painfully' donated.
2. Send me some kind of message that your donations r in the hope you would be able to come to Nats2021.
3. Donate an amount each time you honestly feel u want it set aside for your dream to be at Nats2021.

Shud God will for you not to come to Nats2021 after all, I will personally reimburse ALL your donations that specifically were meant for your prayer to come to Nats2021.

It will be so much sweeter for y'all to be personally handed the coveted Nats2021 amazing participant promo.

Keep praying and declaring against all odds. For as long as that fire to be at Nats2021 burns in your heart, God in His mercy would make it happen for you no matter what.
