I will be hosting South East Regionals at my home at 10404 Calle De Flores Drive, Clermont, FL 34711 on Friday, July 8, and Saturday July 9, 2016.

On Friday people can stop by as early as 3 pm.

The schedule for Friday evening, July 8, 2016 is Type 2, 2 player.  Deck check starting at 7 pm. cost is $5.

Also, on Friday evening those that are interested that would like to stop by, we will have board games to play if type 2 is not your thing.  We will also have individual cards, sets of cards, and products for sale, and card trading available too.


The schedule for Saturday, July 9, 2016 is:

Type 1, 2 player.  Deck check starting at 9 am. Cost is $5.

This will be followed by:

Type 1 multiplayer. Cost is $5.

There will be a lunch break that follows this.  Food options will be provided in the next post.

Booster draft will be starting at 3:30 pm. Cost is $13 which will include the following packs: Apostles, Patriarchs, Kings, Angel Wars, Priests, and Cloud of Witnesses.

Sealed deck will run when booster draft is completed.  Cost is $10 which will include a G or H starter deck, and your choice of 3 foil booster packs from the following packs: Unlimited, Prophets, Apostles, Patriarchs, Kings, Angel Wars, and Priests.

Please note if you pay $5 to play in one of the $5 entry events, you will not be charged an additional $5 at any of the other $5 events which essentially means if you are playing in Type 2, 2 player, and Type 1, 2 player, and Type 1 multiplayer the entry fee for all 3 events or combination thereof, will only be $5.  There will be no discount for playing in booster draft, or sealed since those costs go to cover the expenses of the items being used for those events.

Also, on Saturday we will have individual cards, sets of cards, and products for sale, and card trading available too.

There are three reputable hotel options that are within 5-10 miles from my home, for those that are traveling.  They all for July 8 are currently as of today running between 140 and 160 + tax, prices subject to change each day.

The three hotels are:
Hampton Inn 352-536-6600, 2200 E. Hwy 50, Clermont FL
Fairfield Inn and Suites 352-394-6585, 1750 Hunt Trace Blvd, Clermont, FL
Holiday Inn Express 352-243-7878, 1810 S Highway 27, Clermont, FL

For those on a budget, my living room floor is available, and we do have one bedroom for when guests visit, but depending on those coming bring a sleeping bag and a pillow, or pull up a spot on the floor for Friday July 8 the cost at my home is free for lodging.

Food options:
cans of soda, bottles of water, fresh baked goods, and candy will be available to purchase to help offset hosting costs.  Also, there is a nearby chinese restaurant which has lunch specials from 11 am - 3:30 pm (which coincides with our lunch break) for 5.75 + tax total is 6.15 per meal there, McDonald's (most people know what they can get here for the most part), Publix (most Public subs run 5.19 for the half sub, and 6.59 for the whole with certain exceptions, and Boar's Head subs run 5.69 for the half sub, and 7.79 for the whole with certain exceptions, and I will list here when the sale for that week starts on Thursday what specials they have other than their normal pricing items all of which we can call ahead in the morning and put orders in for those that are interested).  Also, for those on a tight budget, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, and filtered water will be available for no charge.

Each paid entry includes one can of soda or bottle of water.

I'll be Florida that week, but much further south, as in Ft. Lauderdale. I have a wedding July 9th, but if I can make it to the type 2 portion Friday night I would love to. I will have a better answer when I get back to GA, I am currently in Vegas for work. Will there be any other type 2 players?

We would enjoy having you here Friday night.  There are at least one to three additional type 2 players planning to attend as well.  And I am waiting to hear back from more players as South East Regional approaches.  Please let me know when you can firm up details.  Thanks

The wedding is on the 9th, it's a 3 hour drive. I have no problem doing that as long as I can play at least 2 people in type 2, if there will be 4 people playing, including me, I am ok with that. I just need to shake the rust off, and try out two new decks.
