Just to give everyone a heads up, there will be a local tournament at North Heights Church in Roseville, MN on October 3rd. Rob should have it posted on the Cactus tournament page soon but I wanted to give as much notice as possible.

More details to follow, but here's a few for now:

*TexP should be available and will be used for booster draft.

*T1 2P, T2 2P, T1 MP, T2 MP and Booster will be the categories offered. We might also do some TEAMS "training" so people learn how it works before it's offered in a tournament.

*Address is 2701 Rice St Roseville, MN 55113

*Start time will be 9 AM for check-in, game play to start between 9:30 and 10 AM.

*Spirit as a Dove will be the promo (along with some of the older ones)

*Cost is $2 entry fee, $12 for booster, which will be classic booster with the following packs: Unlim, Pr, Ap, Pats, Kings, Priests, TexP

This would be so awesome...unfortunately I'll be at the Minnesota/Wisconsin football game. Depending on the gametime (currently TBA), I might be able to make part of it. Hopefully Booster Draft.

If I can get my work schedule modified such that the day is free, I will likely show up.  Hopefully I'll have my T2 deck(s) ready by then.  ;)

Should be fun. I haven't played in a tournament since State. And I will have the new cards by then. Now I just have to decide what type to play.

Well, I need to wait until I get my TxP box before I know what I need. Matt told me you were having a special TxP-opening event (on the 11th?), so I'd love to come to that if I'm invited. ;D That'll be a great time to determine and trade for what I need.

We have had players from Nebraska, and Kansas City come to a MN local tournament. Its always worth the drive.

We are going to have the opening event at the regular game night on Sept. 11 at Arden Hills. Everybody is invited.

Hey Justin,

How close to the cities (specifically mall of america) is the tournament,
I may be able to make it but only if its near the Mall, since I'm dropping some people off there.

It'd be close to a 30 minute drive from the Mall.

I expect Booster will start sometime after 3, yes.

There will most likely be 5 rounds of T1 2P, but that also depends on the # of players.
