Redemption Nats

Is there a final date on when Redemption Nats will be going on?
I'd like to know so I can plan for it, I missed the last one because I had to go to a camp during the same week, which irritated me.
They seem pretty lame as fighters maybe we should challenge them to a dance off or a redemption game

Okay, I was guessing it was that, because the post on here didn't seem like it was finalized.

Nats locations are decided on a yearly basis so we won't know anything until probably around January of next year

Rochester, NY is a very likely candidate for 2013, so are more neglected areas like Texas or Florida.

I'm doubting it'll be so far south in both 2014 and 2016.

The west has had one nationals in the history of Redemption and it was the smallest nats for, well, I can't get on covenant games to see, but it was small!

if the only thing rob cared about was turnout, it'd be in minnesota every year.

Yes, however, turnout is also extremely important, and even Boston (which was also a relatively low-attended Nationals if memory serves correctly) had 20 more people overall than CA did. Spreading the love around is great, but not at the expense of alienating so many people.

The problem with California is that while attendance isn't Rob's only concern, promoting Redemption is. A Natz in California will only really promote Redemption in California. Having it anywhere east of the Rockies pulls pretty much everyone east of the Rockies. Also, Californa has a pretty large player base (which is why it wasn't a total disaster), but having it pretty much anywhere else in the country gets more playgroups excited since many, many more are able to attend or at least be represented by their more accomplished members.
I am not talking about T2 unless I am explicitly talking about T2. Also Mayhem is fine now somehow!

lmgtfy

This at least makes the trip worth it now.

the closest one is about 17 miles from the church though.  But, it might be worth the drive if you like it that much!

For distant future reference, I pass a Perkins every day on Route 192 in Kissimmee, less than 17 miles from Redemption Central Florida.

If worst comes to worst, I love Yes.

Out west doesn't have to mean Cali...

If it was going to be "out west" it would probably be California again. The player base there is, as mentioned, quite large, but a Cali Nats does effectively turn into exactly that: A Cali Nats. A couple cars and a van can come from various places and meet in Ohio and make the 12 hour drive to MN. That same group of people (at least 19 people if I recall correctly) outright can't do that if it's in California, or really anywhere west of MN.

Maybe everyone can donate $5 a month to a fund so that when Natz comes back out here, the fund can be used for airline tickets ;).

I guess it would be too much to ask for it to come to Wisconsin at some point.

I know where we could hold it out west... wait for it...

Of course he has bias because he lives next to Rochester. It's the same reason people in Boston want to have Nats in Boston, and people in MN want to have it in MN. What of it?
