Just a random thought that popped in my head. What states generally show up at nats?

Thanks and safe travels there.

I'd say that ~50-60% of Nats attendees are those who live in or near (within a 5 hour drive or so) the host state. After that, the biggest areas for Redemption activity are the Midwest (primarily WI, IA and MN), the Northeast (primarily PA, MD and NY), and the East Central/Southeast (TN, KY, GA, and FL--with a few players in AL). Otherwise, there are smaller groups in TX and CA. Usually quite a few people from the other regions than where Nats is show up, but it depends on how far it is for those folks.
