I'm actually curious if this has ever been looked at as an option to help raise money for the national host. Can anyone with more experience elaborate on this a bit? Has advertising ever been looked at?

lots has gone on while i was mia from redemption. Randell if you do get it i would love 2 help. We are closer 2 Roberts now as we are in Fairport. If not I would be willing to help if you bid next year.

Here's what I know regarding NE Regionals: John M in MA really wants it, and is quite confident that he'll get it. Randall also has a strong bid since he probably won't be getting Nats, and if that is indeed the case, it could go either way for which one of them will get it. There's arguments for both of them, most notably John's preparation and experience and Randall's location, and against both of them, most notably John's location makes it harder on those of us in the southern PA/MD region, and Randall's inexperience with larger tournaments.

Jonathon's hosting one on the 29th (I can't make it...) With four active hosts, we may be able to host more than one tournament a month.

If you dont get regionals or nationals are you putting in for states? If not I may have a good location for about 20-30 people. Unless someone else is going for it, marc or jon.

Right now I'm focusing on Nationals. It looks like John M. has Regionals all wrapped up (to my dismay), and I don't think it'd be worth the hassle to host States.

thats too bad about regionals for westerner new yorker but i would say that its mass's turn to have regionals since it went, MD, NJ, Ny, pa the previous years. Pershasp regionals and nationals could be in ny next year if you we dont get nats this year.
