Hey,

I was surprised that full results from nationals don't seem to be on the boards anywhere.  I pulled them from the spreadsheets Bany posted and figured I'd put them here so others don't have to go through the hassle and/or people who were actually there can correct any errors in my list.

Was it a cut to top 8 for T1 and T2?

No, just for T1-2P. T2 is generally a very small category (most people don't realize it's the most fun way to play....;)) so it wouldn't make sense to do a top cut. This year only 10 people played T2-2P. I could see there being a 4 person (2-round) top cut in T2 if more people played, but I'd say there would need to be at least 12-16 people to make it worth it.

Oh I see. Yeah, that totally makes sense with the small number of players for T2. I remember seeing that T1-2P had 59 players, but I didn't know if T2 had about the same.

Were the top 8 deck lists from T1-2P posted somewhere? I am very interested in seeing what the meta looks like.

www.landofredemption.com is a blog run by Gabe Isbell (Gabe on the boards) that hosts articles, many of which involved deck lists from the top decks. Otherwise, there are some deck lists in the Complete Decks or National Tournament Winner forums that should be titled 2015 Nats (1st through 8th place is top cut). Just giving a quick look, 1st-3rd are listed in the National Tournament Winners, and 8th is listed in Complete Decks. 4th place was Gabe, and he posted his deck on the blog. I'm not sure if the rest were posted anywhere, but I know 6th place was a Fight by the numbers banding offense with a Pharisees defense (FBTN refers to a strategy of using Heroes that negate characters and enhancements except for warrior class and weapon class, and several other Heroes that band to each other and to the negating Heroes). 7th I believe was Genesis offense with Egyptian defense. I don't think I ever heard what the 5th place deck used.

In any case, there was quite a bit of variety at the top this year, and the meta will probably shift quite a bit this season as well, due to the new set.

Very cool. I have been reading some articles over at landofredemption. They have some great content. A few of the lists you are referring to I saw, but I was thinking maybe there was an official post or article with the collective top 8 and their lists. It is great to see such a variety  in the top. As with all TCG's, new sets are always the most exciting times. It's always fun to test and see where the meta goes!

Nathan Wagenknecht took 5th with a Throne of David/Red Warriors offense with a primarily Canaanite defense I believe.

Have you checked the REG?
Have you looked it up in ORCID?

After recently learning that players are allowed to use more than one deck at a tournament, how many players in the top 8 registered multiple decks?

I know the first and second place finishers checked in multiple decks but they did not use their second decks for any games.
