We had a great turnout last night at our 2nd local tournament of the season.  There were 4 different groups that came from out of town to join us!

Our newest player, Josh (known at Tracer Burnout on the boards), went 4-0 to dominate T1-2P!!!  He posted two 5-0 wins, including a victory over Tim "SirNobody" Maly.  If you see him online be sure to congratulate him for his awesome performance!

Normally I wouldn't share someone else's deck but since he's already posted it, this one.

genesis/rome?

That is correct.  Not all of it is rome but most of it is.  I think 4/7or8 are roman.  Seemed to work well, for example: I don't know how this happened but I was able to get Emperor Agustus out and place Naaman's chariot and horses on him every game.  I usually like to play that with King Meneham but it never developed.  To be fair to everyone I played (especially Tim) BrianGabe helped me tremendously in the last few week ks on card play and strategies such as getting my hand down as many as I can then playing Mayhem right after they draw causing me to get up to 6 new cards and them possible losing up to 5.  This is one strategy I used with Tim, which he said helped me after the game......so, give the props to BrianGabe for being an excellent teacher.  Thanks Gabe.

I remember that deck? It actually did that good? You know sometimes it isn't the deck itself that wins, but the person who plays it as it comes too. Great Job Tracer.

i have the hardest time deciding if i should play this on turn one for card advantage or wait for another moment to present itself
This is the way Lackey gave it to me. All hail the power of Lackey!

I personally think you just have to gauge it.  If I can I wait until I have the least cards and they have the most (like 8 and then a draw) but sometimes: you either have to (like to potentially get a battle winner or make them lose one) or you feel like its the right time (like they might have SoG/NJ).  That's what I look at.  I was extremely lucky this last weekend......again BrianGabe
