Tournaments Near KANSAS CITY KS OR MO?

I'm new to the game and wanting to play with some people and my only friend that plays lives in bolivar mo which is like 3 hours away...So looking to play in some local tourneys if there are any or play groups..

Gonzo,

I am sorry I didn't see this earlier. I live in Independence. I have a group of type-2 players that play. We don't host local tourneys but we get together and play. If you are interested let me know.

also a reminder, the missouri state tournament in clinton, mo will be tomorrow and saturday.
