Central Florida Tournaments

I need Central Florida players and visitors to start thinking about potential tournament dates. I will be getting my tax return in mid-February, but I want to start brainstorming now. My primary playgroup will have priority for scheduling, and they will be unavailable on most Saturdays. Since I now teach out of my home for virtual school, I plan on having weekday tournaments more often than not. I realize that this will be very limiting to travelling groups, but that is why I need to secure available dates. I can still schedule a Saturday tournament, but I want to make sure that someone is coming since my normal players will not.

Impromptu tournaments will always be a possibility on short notice, especially for vacationers.

Please post here for all potential dates, whether they are absolutely out, or absolutely perfect.

Unfortunately, Wednesday night is Youth Group, so we would have to be done by 6pm. Your siblings would be in school still, right?

I guess I should also mention that Thursdays are out since that is when Homeschool Co-Op meets.

Correct. My Siblings don't get home til after 5 weekdays :( So they are limited to saturdays for mornings.

I have a new approved venue if it will help those of you travelling from western Florida. The Family Christian Bookstore in Lakeland has agreed to let me hold tournaments at their store. They just opened up a lot of space in the back (where toys used to be). They are very well stocked with Redemption and other Cactus products. The store is located just off the highway I-4, at Route 98. It's the big white wharehouse-looking building.

If this venue would work well for anyone, please let me know so I can make arrangements with them on securing a date.

Well, I haven't had much input, so I will pick and choose dates at my leisure. Locals will be on weekdays, and the districts will be on Saturdays, or something like that. There will be impromptu tournaments in between to accomodate out-of-towners and vacationers. I know you can't hear it, but Silent Matrix might be coming soon....  :o
