Hey comrades! Another loose brick.... someone whack it back into place.

I used to think that most states were pretty small since you could fit them on either side of Interstate 95.

I am not talking about T2 unless I am explicitly talking about T2. Also Mayhem is fine now somehow!

You clearly didn't have me.

And yeah, I know that could go 2 different ways.

I used to think that disease that made my great-grandmother forget stuff was called "Old Timer's Disease".

I used to think the hazard light button in cars made them fall apart and/or explode, so I was always too scared to press it.

I used to think that:
-A good education guaranteed you a job
-People were nice in general
-The economy, as a whole, was stable
-I was pretty smart

...Oh, this topic was supposed to be funny?  I always heard that babies were "in their mommies stomachs" and I wondered why they weren't digested.

i used to think that success in life was based on hard work. Now that you can work as hard as you want but you'll never beat out the guy with connections without some connections of your own. This saddens me because it requires me to be social to make these connections.

I used to think it was someone's job to change traffic lights, and he was just watching from a nearby building.

When I was a child I believed that Pokemon games would last forever. However the watch battery in the old gameboy games only lasts about 15 years. When the battery dies you lose your save files. Pokemon Red and Blue were first released in 1998. 14 years ago. 2012 is not the year the world ends. However it is the year that I have to finally say goodbye to my beloved Charizard, whom I have had since I was 6. It is a sad year indeed.

When I was a child I thought people could see you from the other side of the TV so that they could count how many people were watching.
ANB is good. Change my mind.

Trade your Charizard to a newer version. It's not the same, but only a heartless man would let that precious creature die.

Charizard knows all about friendship, I've raised him since he was a wee Charmander. He's been by my side for 14 years.

but he won't recognize me as his original trainer :(

I released all of my Pokemon when it became apparent that I would no longer be able to visit them in Kanto as frequently as they deserved. I hope they've found a mate like Ash's Butterfree, or have been caught by a trainer who will love them as I do. I hope my Venusaur remembers fondly the good times, wherever he is.

When I was a child, I thought unopened candy found under the display was free... got caught the first time and never repeated.
