Not sure why not.  Misty metaphysical trolling* has a long and pointless history on the boards (q.v., JSB's millions of androids thread. 62.378% of all Colin posts).

Now that the board memes are done. I think its mostly due to the fact us trolls don't go out of our way to do so. We used to cause trouble and deprive others of fun just for our own. I don't like doing that anymore however when I see others do that I do pull out my old bag of tricks and make them feel terrible, and they should.

As for creativity here, I think it comes down to time constrains more than anything else. I would like to see old ideas or threads brought back (like the one line of a story at a time) thread.
