Learning languages outside of school.

I'm attempting to learn both Latin and German (and will also need to have a basic understanding of French and Greek) over the next three years. I've got Rossetta Stone, but was wondering if anyone has any recommendations as to textbooks or programs (free/online would be the best).

babelfish for one word translations.  More than one word and it gets super super sketchy.
May you prosper greatly!

Babelfish? At least use Google Translate.

Can they do declensions/conjugations?

Dont think so. Try Charles(i think) Jenney for Latin.

I used English Road to Grammar to learn Latin, but I think it's kind of expensive.

For translating latin on a single word basis, I used this awesome program called Words.

It never failed me through Latin 4. Even better, it's free.

I go on Google Translate and translate random phrases into Dutch. And sometimes German.

Google Translator doesn't teach grammar, and it also sometimes lies.

I know. It translated "Ein Feste Burg" as "A Large Burg"
