I need some help on something...

Hello all, it's been a while since I last stopped by but I've hit a bit of a rut and I could use help. I'm writing a lesson for the small group I attend - it's on different examples of extroidinary worship in the Bible. So far I have two: David dancing when the Ark of the Covenant was brought back to Jerusalem and when Jehoshaphat and the Men of Judah worship God and He destroys their enemies. Do any of you have any other examples like these two (or anything else that would work)? I've been inspired with this lesson and I want to make it as good as possible - praying has brought the thought of this forum to my thoughts, and I will continue to do so in hopes that I might get some good examples. Thanks.

Crossing the Red Sea (Exodus 15)
Job (See esp. Job 1:20-22)
Dedicating the Temple (2 Chronicles 7)
Reading the Law (Nehemiah 8)
The Magi (Matthew 2:1-12)
Anna (Luke 2:36-38)

There's also quite a bit of worship in Revelations...

I would encourage you to delve deeper into one of the two that you already have rather than "verse hopping".
May you prosper greatly!

I agree with Sean, but I would suggest that you use at least one example from each testament.  Old Testament and New Testament forms of worship are different, and I think it would be cool to have some perspective on both of them in the lesson.

I would like to, but the group I'm teaching doesn't have a lot of people who often participate. It's generally just three of us who debate (when there's a subject that this can happen) or agree on something, then we move on. Due to that, it's important to pack a lot of content into a lesson, and if we do get into a more in-depth discussion, certain points can be left out. I'm not the kind of person who likes to drone on and on about one passage, so my teaching style (especially with this lesson) is, "Here's the passage, here's why I think it's so neat, what are your guys' opinions on it?" This isn't a topic to debate whether or not this is a good thing, this small group is (in my opinion) more geared towards fellowship anyways - if something extroidinary comes out of the lesson, then all the better. Please keep the examples coming, I like Mary Washing Jesus' Feet and Reading the Law; I'll read the others here in a bit.
