Glitch in the Chess Board?
« on: September 01, 2010, 11:05:52 AM »

I was playing a game with someone in chess and for some reason after the second move or so it automatically said checkmate and I lost. I checked every possible outcome and I am possible that it was not a checkmate. So basically I am wondering why it said I lost. Could there just have been a glitch or some computer mistake? Or is there a rule about chess I am forgetting?

I think you took too long to move -- your game had a clock that expired.
