I'm not sure about Disturbing Samuel's Spirit and Magician's Snakes...I feel those have potential with a Egyptian/Magician defense or Brown/Magician defense. There's also a possibility for a Witch of Endor reprint that makes DSS even more viable.

Lifting the Curse isn't fluff...I've seen it used quite effectively in a T2 deck. I think it has a tough time getting into T1 decks because White has so many great choices right now.

Agreed.  In T2 it's almost like having up to 5 extra DoNs or nerfed Covenants of Noah just sitting there in my territory.  Then I can save my real DoN for an actual artifact.

Replace 4 and 5 with Nicodemus and Magician's Snakes and you've got the top 5 fluffy/almost useless cards.

Magicians Snakes is a good card. Why do you think it's Fluff?

I'm not sure about Disturbing Samuel's Spirit

It requires too much setup and depends on the opponent to use two or more brigades. I don't want to put a card in my deck thats utterly useless if they run single brigade.

9/10 of the times most people play some kind of splash especially with all the duel colored enhancements and magicians need all the enhancement help they can get, same with brown.

DSS is a good one to choose as most fluffy.

It's obvious the fluffiest card is Mannahsa (yes I spelled it wrong, go ahead sue me  :P)

Passover Hymn is NOT a bad card. With all those high number Disciples, the ability to negate almost an unlimited number of evil enhancements could be unfathomably useful. Plus, it gets rid of one of Thaddeus' few banes, as well as any other curse you would prefer not to see anymore. And you never know when you'll need to bypass immunity. I might call it a fluff card just since it's not very original, but it's definitely not a bad or useless card.

Passover Hymn's pretty nice.  My opponent once played three devastating enhancements, finishing with a battlewinner, PH wiped them all out (plus a nasty curse he forgot about)

Plus Passover Hymn is territory class.  Except for Booster Draft at 2009 Nats, I have yet to play a game taking advantage of territory class enhancements.  I really like most of them from this set.

Not if you use a Watchful Servant deck.

LDyL and Resurrection are a tad on the fluffy side, but not quite. LDyL would seem to be redundant with Herod's Temple, and in many ways it is, but when your opponent has saved his CM for when you're going for your 5th soul and either can't afford to lose 5 cards to stop it or simply don't have that many cards left, it's a lifesaver.

Resurrection will recur your Hero instantly and without wasting a battle phase like CoF. It can also be a banding card. Not fluff, just not Manasseh-powered.

I gotta say it frustrates me that when someone posts a card that is fluff someone else responds "no because it does blah blah blah..." Yes, we all know the cards have a purpose but generally speaking, in most decks, some cards are fluff. Like I understand the Marketplace can be used in several decks and possibly be awesome; but generally speaking, almost NO decks are going to run that card. It's pretty much fluff.
As a national champion, I support ReyZen deck pouches.

If a card is useful, but only within an archetype, it's not fluff.  Most decks won't use a particular horses, but they're still not fluff.

To further clarify, if a card is useful, but only in certain decks, it's not fluff. If a card is not useful in any deck, or is eclipsed by similar, but better cards, it's fluff. All 5 of the cards I listed are in that category.

I would say that Wash Basin is a bit fluffy because you could throw it in almost any deck w/ N.T. heroes and it would work but it is not that good necessarily unless you are playing watchful servant which apparently it doesn't matter if it works in a certain kind of deck.

I think you're mistaking being unuseful in every deck with being useful in any deck. :P I mean seriously, Wash Basin is a demon killer and an all-around amazing card in any deck you can use it in, without needing much luck to work wonders. That card is not fluff.

I would say it's an all-around fair card, not an all-around amazing card.
