That's super exciting that you guys are going to the Creation Museum! I wish we could come with - it's amazing and I love it! So here's my advice:
- Yes, there is a TON there to take in. You could easily spend 2 days at the Museum if you have time. If so, I would recommend using one day for the main walkthrough (the walkthrough of Genesis 1-11), which takes about 3-4 hours. You could then add in some of the outdoor extras like the petting zoo and gardens to fill out that day. Then for the 2nd day I would go to all of the shows, planetarium, and extra displays/exhibits that are inside. You'll also probably love the main walkthrough so much that you'll want to zoom through it again
- Also, if you're going to the Museum, you HAVE to also go the ARK! Also amazing!!!! It's only about a 20 minute drive away. When we went, the Ark had just been completed (so the Flood was about to begin, j/k lol) and so they hadn't filled everything out yet (especially the attractions around/outside the Ark itself). So in our experience, 1 day was good enough for the Ark.
- If you can only spend 2 days, then I would recommend the Museum on one day, and the Ark on the other.
- If you can only spend 1 day, then it would be jam-packed but you could swing it to spend 1/2 the day at the Museum (main walkthrough) and the other 1/2 at the Ark. But it will be like drinking from a firehose
