Is it wrong to listen to secular music? Because most Christian bands aren't as talented and can be really boring.

Assuming that said secular music isn't actively dishonoring God or promoting Satanism, then I would say no.  Personally, though...I get fed up with the self-centered, obscene, and/or meaningless lyrics that typify a lot of secular music, so I find myself preferring the Christian alternatives in and of themselves.  Listening to Christian music shouldn't be an obligation.

Note that I'm not saying all secular music is obscene and mindless; I listen to quite of few secular artists.

Here's the story of how metal was created:

There were 2 things: Rock & Screaming,
They loved each other very much.
One day some things happened,
And 9 months later...
Rock gave birth to Metal.

And then Punk Rock, New Wave and Grunge all got together and tried to kill the Metal, but failed.

WRONG.
it's
Mood ring, oh mood ring, please tell me will you bring the key to unlock this mystery of girls and their emotions, play it back in slow motion, so I may understand this complex infrastructure known as the female mind. heh, that was terrible.

and if you mosh to it, something is seriously wrong with you.
but I'd totally mosh at a Relient K concert just to stir things up.
