Pillar and Red, and Sky Eat Airplane if they are, in fact, Christian.

And U2, because they're the best Christian band in all genres de facto.
I am not talking about T2 unless I am explicitly talking about T2. Also Mayhem is fine now somehow!

If I did that, then I'd listen to nothing but Dream Theater.  ;)
and nobody would blame you.
More like Forsaken and My Obsession
true, true. but Skillet is typically Hard Rock.
i enjoy Rock more... guys like Skillet,Kutless,FF5,DC talk then Tobymac,.. oh and who can forget Petra?
Tobymac and Kutless? failure. TFK, Skillet, RED, FF5, Flyleaf, etc. is what you should be listening to.

aaaaand Stryper over Petra.

I'd add Disciple to that as well (-.-)
oooh, agreed. not sure why I didn't think of them.

A few metal bands I've come across are: The Infinite Order; The Crucified; and I believe Pride of the Wicked (Maybe War of Ages?).  Decyfer Down is a pretty good borderline :D

Actually, Five Iron Frenzy has some good false metal songs.  American Kryptonite, anyone?

To get this back on topic, I'm more of a very hard rock fan. (In other words I like singing over screaming).  But my favorite PURE metal bands are Becoming the Archetype, August Burns Red & one of the original metal bands Living Sacrifice.  If you are a metal fan and haven't ever heard them, you NEED to check them out, just out of respect!  Living Sacrifice is part of the reason a lot of the bands on the current list are playing music!

Living Sacrifice is pretty sweet.  Someone referred me to them as the "Christian Metallica", not so much.

Living Sacrifice is pretty sweet.  Someone referred me to them as the "Christian Metallica", not so much.

The reason some people say that, is they had a couple of cds in their early days that sounded a lot like Metallica.  But now they are the traditional hardcore metal sound.

Yeah, sadly.  Still looking for that...  I like Metallica, but we're only allowed to listen to Christian music at MC.

You don't need to care about their rules, I do.  I'm still looking for Christian Metallica.
Based on biblical demand, the list would go like this:
Jesus.  And that's it.  Here's a challenge for you, Warrior: What ruckus happened at the passover table that ended up in towels?
