A Twitter experiment:

I'm currently put off by Facebook apparently not caring that their interface is now globally hated, so I'm trying out Twitter. Perty cool. I came across the idea of hash tags. If you tweet, try putting in "#redemptionccg". I wonder if we can start some buzz? Ideas? ??? ::) :o ;D

I like the new interface. Every time Facebook changes, it's for the better and everyone hates it for a while. They have a little cry, get over it, and then come to appreciate the new functionality.

I also like it, it requires far less loading and is a big improvement IMO.

For me, it's a confusing, side-scrolling nightmare. I haven't been there for days

Exactly. Isn't it funny how the "new interface is always worse" and they want the old one back but when you take away the new one and add a newer one suddenly the new one was awesome?

All I know is that since the new interface was released, I haven't had a single issue with facebook being laggy or having problems loading...if that's what it took, I don't mind a bit.

The "new functionality" includes that "bookmarks" are no longer really bookmarks. I have a couple apps that I frequently access and now I have to go back to the homepage after each one in order to get to the next one because the "bookmarks" are only on the homepage now. It was so much easier when they were across the bottom and I could click the next one straight from there. I hate the new layout, and no I won't come to appreciate it over time. Big improvement, yeah right.[/rant]

I can see how texting saves so much time, especially when you get to skip those meaningless letters, like the "e" in "text."  ;)

So it's been at least a month since the newest interface change, and I still hate it. There's nothing to appreciate. It completely stinks and has made a lot of things harder/more annoying than the last one. What do you say to that?

A horse is a horse, of course of course, and as my grandfather always said: you can lead a horse to water, but that doesn't make it right.
