Hi there,

maybe I missed it but for e.g. brown and orange I did not find anything like horses (Swift, Egyptian, 2000, Namaan's...).

Is there any similar cards that can be used for brown (and orange) to get the same effect (well black is limited to Philis if they want to interrupt + draw + play)? Or will we get it soon?

Thanks for your responses!

Bye

I think it’s called wickedness abounds in brown.

Orange works to undo draws by opponent with underdecking with spirit of temptation, pestering spirit, persistent pestering, sinning hand, theif etc

Yes, but Wickedness Abounds does not interrupt and it only works if opponent has more cards in hands than player. 2 major drawbacks IMO. I'd like to see sth. like the mentioned horses or so for brown too.

Not even brigade needs to have the same tools. Drawing cards and playing first/next are powerful abilities on an evil weapon and shouldn't be given out lightly.

That's correct. So is there anything similar powerful for brown already (without crimson, black, gray or PG splash which would allow for playing such cards)?

Play a Brown split brigade card that includes the colors who do have access to "Horses" abilities. Problem solved.

Yes, this helps (as I wrote above) but it's still a drawback compared to brigades which can fully make access of such cards. After a quick (but not complete) check brown also seem to need some interrupt support regarding enhancements in general ...

Orange pretty much has its own 2KH with Evil Armor from Priests. Although you can’t draw, you do get to reveal the bottom card of the deck and take it if it’s an evil card (and if you’re playing orange correctly it will be an evil card, so it’s virtually the same as a draw). Then play the next enh which is probably the card you just took (if you set it up that way with Spirit of Temptation, Mist, etc), or one that’s sitting in your hand.

The split point I already mentioned regarding brown. But for me brown still seems to lack from interrupt and interrupt + draw. Compared to orange and PG/Evil Gold it even does not have the reveal top/bottom opportunity.

Don't get me wrong: Brown isn't my favorite brigade but compared to others it seems to be a little bit underpowered IMHO.

They just released the Persian archers/horses. Brown has The Jeering Youths for playing first as well as another EC who grants initiative. Orange can easily play first and is fast in other ways, especially with Revelation and Gates of Hell. Brown has always been a slow defense, and less played because of it as well as lack of powerful ECs/EEs. Phase 2 seemed to fix all of that. Brown and PG used to be a very popular defense with banding brown ECs banded to mostly Assyrians with 2k horses and run Gib Trick/Forgotten History. I know YWR is a staple but people might not realize that YWR allows the opponent to start a new RA, so that defense is very much still viable, just not really used anymore.

Well there is:

Spoiler (hover to show)

Although the play next on that is limited to one specific character.

Also you can do Jezebel>Ahab to play first if that is the part you are after.

Life is what you make of it.
