Thinking Outside the Box #4 - Replication

I'm going to share some rough ideas that do things that have haven't been done before in Redemption. These are untested and probably need more work before they are could ever see print. Your feedback is appreciated!

Concept: You get an ongoing copy of an opponent's Artifact as long as that Artifact remains active. If the Artifact you copy is deactivated then this returns to your hand to be used to copy the new Artifact if you wish. This would be discarded if you pay a cost to use the copied Artifact (like with Unholy Writ or Unknown Nation).

I love the idea. The only problem I see is if the Artifact is removed from the field of play other than simply deactivating it (such as it being discarded for its own cost or by DoN or shuffled by CA), do you still get to keep your copy in territory at that point?

You need to add the addendum of "If played by a King or an Assyrian"

It keeps with the verse without it becoming another splash card with Gomer, ASlave, and Uzzah.

EDIT: Or change the color.

Agree with everything said. For at least the next few sets, you have to make sure anything Brown can't be splashed into the meta defense.

i think maybe this should be an artifact. but i love the idea it would be a nice boost to a noob who doesnt own a lot of good arts.

I don't like the brown but I love the idea, maybey make it purple/pale green. (thinking Hezikiah for purple)
