I am not talking about T2 unless I am explicitly talking about T2. Also Mayhem is fine now somehow!

I don't like Jealousy of Ciaphas all that much. It seems a little OP to me,  becuase it protects souls if opponent plays a Territory class, or a healing, or a set-aside enhancement, I think the origional intention was probably stopping Jacob and ET and such, but its really nasty now.

I like scribes and Captain of the Temple Guard. Those actually can help to make a decent sadduce/pharrase deck really decent. I tried making one. Epic Fail lol XD

Bear in mind, it prevents you from using those as well.

But since it says may, you can trigger the effect correct? So if you do it, it shouldn't matter

I'll change the wording. It triggers whenever the conditions are met.

Maybe instead of "may only be used twice," say "ability may only be used once." That would limit it, but it also might make it more useful in that it won't be as big a DoN target.

EDIT: Wait, I just realized, using the term "this turn" on that card makes it practically useless if used as an artifact, unless you use a card to activate it in the middle of opponent's turn, which I don't believe exists for evil. You might as well just make this an enhancement.

I like that a lot more better. And I wouldn't worry about this getting don'ed. if it did than other artifacts that help the deck better than this one wouldn't be destroyed so easily like ark, holy grail, and cof

"This turn" refers to the turn when the conditions are met. It works as an Artifact.

If a Good Enhancement was played this turn when no Evil Characters were in the field of battle, Protect all Lost Souls from rescue. Can only be used twice.
"This turn" seems to refer to the turn it is activated in, no? The way this is worded, it sounds to me like it checks once it's activated and either activates right then or just sits there until it's de-/re-activated.

It is a trigger effect. If conditions aren't met, it cannot be activated. So as long as this is active, any turn where an ehnacement is played without an ec in battle the effect goes through, reguardless of when it was activated. It is like Arc and 30 pieces

The card has a condition which is set in the past (notice the verbs "was" and "were"), and then refers to "this turn," which I translate to mean that conditions are only met if a good enhancement was played previously in the turn this card was activated. Am I misunderstanding something?

Yeah. If this is activated and an enhancement was activated, then it goes into effect. IT is like talking about the present in the past tense which is uber weird

Perhaps the argument stems from my opposition of uber weird wording.

the card is a little weird too so it's understandable. It would be sooooo awesome if this card was made
