Exiled to Egypt EE

Just came up with this idea for an enhancement, don't know if it's any good cause I'm tired, but welp here it is anyway:

Exiled to Egypt ?/? Gold EE
SA: If opponent has used a draw or evil ability this turn, capture a hero (or 2 Israelites if used by an Egyptian). If no Israelite is in play, you may top deck an enhancement from your discard pile instead.

Ref: Exodus something or other.

Feedback welcome (and probably needed lol). Goodnight, thanks.

Technically, the israelites were never "exiled" to egypt. Jacob's sons took their families there and had a bunch of kids and so there was a substantial israeli population there. the egyptians were pretty chill about them, and then a new pharaoh came into power and was like "hmm, we have all these useless jews around here, might as well put em to work!" and so they became slaves. Although, you could have this be a reprint of "Enslaved by Egypt". I think it would be appropriate.

Another idea is to just have it called "Enslaved" and have it do something like this:

Interrupt the battle. If opponent has used a draw or band ability this turn, capture a hero (or 2 Israelites if used by an Egyptian or Herod). If no Israelite is in play, you may top deck an enhancement from your discard pile instead. Cannot be prevented if used by a Pharaoh or Herod.

Just an idea to try and help herods! Poor things, i just cant bear to see them suffering! ;D

honestly judging from the strength of egyptians and herods at the moment i would like it to be less conditional:

Exiled to Egypt 1/5 Gold EE
Interrupt the battle. Discard the top card of opponent's deck or capture a hero (do this twice if played on an Egyptian or Herod). Cannot be prevented.

i mean really what else do you play a gold defense with, egyptians/herods.. ?

i think they could even use a besieging the city reprint honestly. it's crazy how much cbp and interrupts are of necessity at the moment. i really do feel like most evil brigades still need more useful interrupts since being often unable to block or potentially unable after 1 of the 2 useful evil interrupts have been played if you even draw them

the boost egyptians got from cloud is nice but gold is still sub par for average players at getting the consistency of blocks other brigades and themes get i have found.. i like seeing the focus of what certain brigades and themes jobs are though. the hard hearted pharaoh and murdering pharaoh almost make evil gold viable for competitive play, not to mention a lot more fun to play casually! :)

cheers to great to special abilities from cloud and sets to come!!
