7/6 Red Warrior-class unique male hero

May band to Peter and/or an angel.

"And they said, 'Cornelius, a centurion, a righteous and God-fearing man well spoken of by the entire nation of the Jews, was divinely directed by a holy angel to send for you to come to his house and hear a message from you.' "  Acts 10:22

Interesting idea. But, why can he only band to Peter? Why not any regular red brigade hero, like his second part of his ability?

Actually it would be initially almost impossible for him to band to any Jew.  Remember that Cornelius was the first recorded Gentile convert, and it took a lot of convincing from Jesus to get Peter to go to his house and preach to him.  Reads Acts 10 - very cool story :)

Ability is kind of meh. I would make it more interesting, and maybe more in line with the other centurions. How about this:

"Hero has access to any NT site. If an Angel is in play or set-aside, you may search deck for Peter and add him to battle. Negate the special ability on the next evil card played this battle."

That way he has site access (though more limited than the other Centurions because of his other abilities) and he still will more often than not negate the special ability of a blocking EC (but not all of them like the other Centurions). But he also gets to band to Peter, even from a draw pile. Thoughts?

I really wanted one more hero who could band to angels, besides Jacob, and him being NT and Red (hardly played anymore) would help red a lot.  I would rarely have Peter in my WC red banding deck, so I'm not sure how often the Peter part would come up.  My Peter part was inserted more because it makes sense from the text, and it could maybe cause occasional fits for the Garden Tomb player using Peter :)

I just played a red/purple deck last night, and they go really well together actually. And Peter will be Purple someday...
