Add ins from my packs
Spirit of Elijah - won me at two battles in the tournament
Confused languages- Thought this would have been cool to negate band ablilites on the ECs but never got to pull it off. Underdecked it when I had to lose a card from my hand. It also ended up getting discarded a few games since I needed other enhancements more.
Manasseh, the Humble/ Manasseh, the Wicked- only ended up drawing and placing this guys a couple of Games. In my last game I was able to play him as evil to top deck the only meek LS in my LoB. Then I was able to play Divination in battle to Look at my top 6 , take up to one evil card and underdeck the rest. This allowed me to hid two souls at the bottom. I won that game 5-1 allowing me to have a better differential then Luke Marshall, who came in third.

Reserve (7) Added 3 to the original
David’s Spies
Loyalty to David
Subjugated Egyptians
Egyptian Chariots

Add ins to my reserve
Foolish shepherd
Jehoiada, King Maker
Cut off

I had Beast from the Sea in at one point to band to Foolish shepherd but ended up taking it out since I only had a pack of 60 sleeves so I couldn’t add any more cards.
Looking back it might have been cool to have Jehoiada in the deck to search for David.
I ended up not using the pulled cards from my reserve since my main target was Loyality of David.

I could be misstaken but I feel like I used each card in the deck in at least one of my six games.

Brandon C. 5-2 Win
Ron Sias 3-3 Tie

I'm surprised that you didn't have all that much to add to the deck. Just goes to show that you played well with what you did have!

You wrote that the deck is 53 cards but I only see that you added Spirit of Elijah and Confused Languages to the main deck. Did you miss something or did I?

I forgot to mention Manasseh. Post above updated. The 10 minutes we had was barely enough time to sleeve. My first opponent had not played in years so he never offered to trade and I never saw anything that he pulled from his packs. I only had a few cards that even remotely worked.

It seems a lot of people I played had this deck (the last 4 games I think). I also had this deck, but our packs were abysmal; I only added Triumphal Entry (which was really good) and a Manasseh, the Humbled/Manasseh, the Wicked (I traded for). I also added The Fullness of Time to the Reserve but never searched it. :P

I swapped Manasseh for the Egyptian that negates banding (who I threw in the Reserve). Manasseh was fantastic for banding to other defenses. I think the only starter deck card I never used in any of the games was the meek EC in Reserve, but if we had more time I might've thrown the Artifact in Reserve since I might've used that only once or twice. David's Tent is such a good card it almost seems like the person who draws it early has an unfair advantage (and I was almost never that person lol).

I thought at the start I might get bored like it's very easy to do with I/J but I was surprised to find myself enjoying these games even with so few cards added. Super fun decks overall, love the single brigade defenses (finally!) and the banding Doms.
If you were to go on a trip... where would you like to go?

I saw when you played Triumphal Entry against Brian and realized how sweet that was with these decks. There are so many d1 effects so grabbing either of your good Doms or the Hero you need is pretty slick. I've played one game with the starters again Eman and I definitely see what you mean about David's Tent. I got mine a turn out two earlier and I think the advantage snowballed.

It is interesting that most of the top finishers had the K deck. I'd be curious to see the breakdown of the top 10 or 20 even. I can't think of any reason it would perform better other than the packs supported them better, maybe with the green in PoC, or that more of the really good (Sealed) players just happened to get this deck.

It’s also interesting to note that I only played L Deck in first round. Everyone else I played had the K deck. Although Shon had traded defenses with his opponent so he had basically an all I Samuel deck.
