This deck served me very well this year since around March when I built it. It won both MN States T2 2P and T2 MP, and won T2 2P and tied for 2nd in T2 MP at NC Regs. It was fairly consistent with beating my brothers this season until Nationals this year when it lost to Jordan in a very close, 7-5 game. It ended up taking 4th in T2 2P at Nats due to the game against Jordan and Noah Wagenknecht, both very close games. Here's the deck as played at Nationals in both T2 2P and T2 MP:

As you can see, my deck uses Nazzy which seems to be less common now as people want to be doing their own searching with Golden Cherubim, Isaiah's Call, Wheel within a Wheel, AUtO, etc. so I figured Naz was a good play when my only search was Philip. To compensate I maxed out on Nunc Dimittis and Divination which both worked like a charm. In my game against Craig Fountain I ended playing all 4 Divinations in one turn and used Nunc Dimittis on SoG and NJ twice, getting through my entire deck without shuffling by underdecking with Divination and Laver. My deck performed exactly how I wanted it to in pretty much every game, even the ones I lost. I had the second highest Lost Soul (behind Jordan) differential even though I took 4th, beating Justin by 5 souls.

Changes made throughout the year:
I made pretty few changes throughout the year but the two main ones were before Nats. At Regionals I ended up discarding Mayhem in two different games and played it in I think only one of my other games because I almost always felt like my hand good enough that I don't want to risk a bad redraw. I fairly consistently had plenty of cards with all the drawing and revealing I was doing. I took Mayhem out and decided to put in a counter to FBtN because that always seemed to be my main struggle on defense. I added Confusion of Mind and don't regret it at all. Even though it's fairly easy to get rid of with its own ability and with Live Coal and Passover Hymn being everywhere, Balaam can recur it for continual blocking against TSA, CotH, Moses, etc.

The second change was right before Nationals when I replaced Persistent Pestering with Suicidal Swine Stampede for multi. I ended up not changing back for two player which I think was a mistake because Spirit of Temptation + Egyptian Mags (+Egyptian Mags) + PP is just too good to pass up. I think I would've been able to play it three times in one block once since my opponent had EM as well. Either way, if I didn't put PP back in I'm thinking I should've put in another EC that could also help with FBtN. Perhaps Prince of This World (doubtful) or even Women as Snares who is able to play Forgetten History against TSA, CotH, and Moses for the win. WaS probably would've helped me greatly against Jordan if I was able to pull it off at the right time.

Anyway, that's pretty much it. Not sure if I'll get around to doing a game by game reflection thing because I probably wouldn't remeber everything well enough but here are the results for each of my games in T2 2P and T2 MP:

T2 2P:
Against Al Bauer -- W -- 7-0
Against Dayne Maust -- W -- 7-5
Against Jordan Alstad -- L -- 5-7
Against Joey Shivers -- T/O W -- 5-2
Against Craig Fountain -- W -- 7-0
Against Noah Wagenknecht -- L -- 6-7

Record: 3-1-0-0-2
LS Differential: 16
Place: 4th

T2 MP:
Against Dayne Maust, Craig Fountain -- T/O W -- 6-3-4
Against Nathan Voigt, Zach Ziess -- W -- 7-4-4
Against Joey Shivers, Zach Ziess -- T/O T -- 4-4-4
Against John Michaliszyn, Dayne Maust -- L -- 4-6-7

Record: 1-1-1-0-1
LS Rescued: 21
Place: 2nd

I'll have to admit, it has been a mixture of fun and agonizing seeing Jayden's development as a T2 player. This deck consistently beat both Justin and I throughout the year, and would have beaten me at Nats had it not been for a very well-timed Mayhem. This deck was a brilliant mix of speed and power, and if I would have had to give odds to the players playing T2 in the tournament, I would probably have bet on Jayden. Congrats to my little bro, and I am confident that his time to hold the T2-2P trophy is coming.

Have you checked the REG?
Have you looked it up in ORCID?

Great Job! I always look forward to seeing other peoples deck building ideas and how they differ from my own and I find yours to be closer to something I would want to play (if I ever got the chance to actually play).

How well did captured ark perform for you?

I noticed the timeouts against Joey shivers. Is that common?

This is the way Lackey gave it to me. All hail the power of Lackey!

Thank you! You're welcome to use the idea anytime. I'm thinking of switching the green with clay to see how that works but I might just try to come up with something else altogether.

Captured Ark performed very well for me as it was handy to deal with things like Covenant with Death which is pretty painful to mostly defense and somewhat less to offense. And if they weren't running any artifacts that really bothered me I'd just Laver it.

Timeouts really weren't all that common for this deck as I get what I need fairly quick but this game was sorta slow and defensive for both of us. I know that I likely would've won if I had one more turn though as SoG was the fourth card down and I already had NJ.

Jayden said that he probably timed out that game because he went to the bathroom in the middle of the game.
